Here's a summary of what's in the 2012 AOS February Filers Timeline Sheet

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 40: 04/05/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Really happy seeing most of you succeed and got GC approved, congratulations!!

feel a little left behind, but we finally sent our response on RFE out last week and now keeping our fingers cross that everything will start moving to the right direction. lots of luck is needed.

Have not updated in a while.

I called USCIS and found out that my field office changed locations. because of that the processes fell behind a little bit.

As of today, they are Processing December 2011 Applications. but are still within the 4 month period, (or so they say)

Thankfully my EAD was adjucated quickly and i have applied for SSN and DL already and I am finally working.

For us who are left keep strong.. we are in the final stretch.. in the following weeks we shall be receiving that awesome text message.

I checked my status online. It changed to Decision.

"On May 29, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision"

Is that my Green card is on the way????

I got the same email and the letter I received was the "Welcome to the United States.." Letter..I think that's the "formal" decision. Don't worry and celebrate!!! :)

I got the same email and the letter I received was the "Welcome to the United States.." Letter..I think that's the "formal" decision. Don't worry and celebrate!!! :)

Hi guys...

today, finnally got a response from USCIS for "case status", I haven`t been able to track my case as my receipt numbers for I485-I140 gave me the "can not find you case number"... well, this morning I tried (as every day B-) ) and got a response, for the I485 shows "Acceptance" and for the I140 shows "Initial review".

slow pace, buuuuut at least I know thy haven`t forgotten me.
