Anyone in this group going through the San Francisco office?

12/24/2010 I proposed. She accepted and stayed.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

We were booked for 9:30 AM. We showed up about 10 minutes early.....................

We waited until about 9:35-9:40 and a gentleman probably in his 50's called my name............................

Done! We were on our way home before 11:00

I could not get a letter from my employer about my work hours but I do have pay stubs for last 2 months do you guys think it will be ok?

My interviews is this Thursday at 7:15 AM I hope I don't oversleep, although right now sleep is the last thing on my mind.

Likely be fine. There is always that chance they could ask for it. Ours didn't ask for anything financial except the tax return for 2011 and didn't even look at that.

My wife didn't send in an employment letter with the i-130, we brought both the employment letter and pay stubs for the pass two months to the interview but the I/O never asked for either....

July 1st 2010 - Came to America to meet Her and stayed 30 days.

November 4, 2010 - Bought her a ticket to come see my country

December 1, 2010 - Came back to america to be with her for 3 months

March 10, 2011 - Took her back to Jamaica with me and she returned home after 5 days.

August 29, 2011 - Came back to US to be with my queen for 3 months again

12/10/2011 - Got Married in America

Thanks guys, I am going without the letters from my employer, I will take the last 2 months pay stubs though!

Hey guys,

We breezed through the interview today in San Francisco and the GC was approved on the spot. The interview itself was over in less than 15 minutes and she probed very little and didn't ask for most of the docs I'd prepared.

I'll write a full account of it later today when I get home to my laptop (I realize you're hanging out for it AtariBaby!).

Hey guys,

We breezed through the interview today in San Francisco and the GC was approved on the spot. The interview itself was over in less than 15 minutes and she probed very little and didn't ask for most of the docs I'd prepared.

I'll write a full account of it later today when I get home to my laptop (I realize you're hanging out for it AtariBaby!).

Thank you so much to everyone who invests time in this forum. You've all saved me a lot of pain (and $!).

My wife actually literally did as soon as we got out the door. LoL

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

12/24/2010 I proposed. She accepted and stayed.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

I think I have everything set for Monday, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything:

-Bank statements with both names

-Car insurance with both names on it(I'm taking the card that has both names)

-His military life insurance with me as beneficiary

-DEERS letter of enrollment(a proof of Health/Dental insurance with my name and the date the coverage started)

-My military spouse ID

-His orders and ERB

-Verizon bill with me as Authorized User

- Verizon call log with all his calls highlighted(he usually calls me 4 or 5 times a day)

-Cards, letters, pictures of us

-Cards and letters his parents/family sent to us

-Some military related letter addressed to me

-My ticket confirmation(yes..I bought it. I got a farelock thing so I can hold the reservation for 7 days)

-His last pay stub and out 2011 taxes plus his W2's

-All original documents I need to have with me.

-Our wedding photobook and cards of people congratulating us, plus the invitation

-A scrapbook I have ever since we've met

you and i are very similar bc my hubby is in military as well my interview is june 5th so i was researching for any usefull info and i did! i hadnt thought bout the DEERS..however wen i did get my military ID they made an error on part of my last name and i really never bothered to change it but now that i have my EAD i might drag him to the office to get it changed so i can bring it to interview.. A and i took have 2 big scrapbooks that i started ever since we started dating!! =DD thanks for your post really informative. :dance: :dance:

Day 2: 03/08/12 Package arrive @ Chicago Lockbox

Day 11: 03/17/12 NOA's arrive for all 3 forms

Day 18: 03/24/12 Biometric appt letter receieved for 4/16/12

Day 41: 04/16/12 Biometric appt

Day 42: 04/17/12 Called USCIS to fix Name problem at biometric appt

Day 56: 05/01/12 Status updated on website EAD in production

Day 57: 05/02/12 Status updated on website Interview appt 06/05

Day 62: 05/07/12 EAD MAILED!!!

Day 65: 05/10/12 EAD IN HAND!!!

Day 69: 05/14/12 Applied for SSN

Day 74: 05/19/12 SS Card IN HAND!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 Interview @ 8:30am: APPROVED ON THE SPOT!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 around 6 pm received text that updated aproved status on USCIS website

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!
