The Biometrics is usually taken for the Alien Immigrant/I-130 beneficiary/I-485 petitioner (still same person) & not the US citizen

ok thanks. so will only expect one letter then.

21/2 - received NOA in mail for all 4 (130/485/765/131)

23/3 - biometrics scheduled -> did "early" walk-in on 21 March

06/4 - received email update, interview scheduled for 7th May

27/4 - received EAD

08/5 - email: approval one day after interview (7th May)

ok thanks. so will only expect one letter then.

Usually you should have the bio-metrics appointment for I-765 & I-485 in the same letter but sometimes some others get their appointment letters (for I-1765 & I-485) seperate even with different appointment dates

But you can even do them (biometrics) both at the same time as walk in prior to the appointment date(s) on the letters regardless.

Silly me! I didn't think we could apply for advanced parole (need to learn how to read), now I have to wait for the Action Notice before I can send in I-765 and I-131....Le sigh...Barbados I'mmmm coming...I hope?? :innocent:

Did you get your Biometric letter already? your timeline suggests otherwise so i'll assume not

well, I'm Not so sure but If you get Biometric letters for I-765 seperate and I-485 later then your EAD should proceed as normal but if they are gonna send you a single letter for Biometric for both I-485 & I-765 after you send your RFE then it might slow it a bit.

But dont stress, RFE shouldnt delay the process any much longer

According to the tracking from USPS my package was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox at 6:58am this morning. I guess the waiting begins :thumbs:

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

OK I got an ASC appointment notice for my biometrics today for the I485 and I765 and am hoping that is what the RFE was referring to. Should I call them to confirm?

The appointment is scheduled for 20 March but will try and do a walk in on Wednesday. It is scheduled for Elizabeth, NJ.

09 Feb 2012, Day 1 Package received at Chicago Lockbox

14 Feb 2012, Day 6 Email of acceptance, application being sent to NBC

15 Feb 2012, Day 7 $1070 check cashed.

27 Feb 2012, Day 19 Bio appointment letter received

02 Mar 2012, Day 22 RFE received

03 Mar 2012, Day 23 RFE returned with info
