July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

My GC was undeliverable?! So it was returned to USCIS and called them, telling USCIS that I have changed my address online long time back even before my Interview. So they give me a confirmation that they will resend it back to me.. Oh well, I really hope so...

Congrats to all who got their EAD card! Happy for you guys!

Just checked the USCIS website:

On May 1, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Yay!

10 Feb 2012 - I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 sent to Chicago Lockbox (arrived 14 Feb 2012)
21 Feb 2012 - All NOAs received, address changed for all forms via USCIS online form
28 Feb 2012 - Biometrics done (walk-in because they scheduled us for the Chicago office)
26 Mar 2012 - Notice received for AOS interview
24 Apr 2012 - Interview date
01 May 2012 - Approved

07 Apr 2014 - I-751 receipt & 1 yr extension received

Just checked the USCIS website:

Yay!

nice! did they sent you an update on I-130 only or did you also get an update on I-485?

21/2 - received NOA in mail for all 4 (130/485/765/131)

23/3 - biometrics scheduled -> did "early" walk-in on 21 March

06/4 - received email update, interview scheduled for 7th May

27/4 - received EAD

08/5 - email: approval one day after interview (7th May)

I see that everybody is moving good on their cases. Guess what? I just received my GC today too!! And guess what?? It's green :)))))...i was making fun of it with my friends cause i had no idea if it will be green or not :))))...Happy day!!

Ohh...and btw...i wanted to ask you guys if you have all three names on card. When i changed the name at the interview, the lady told me that i will have all the three names on it...but from the middle name it's just the initial... it's that normal? They did the same thing with my EAD and it took me 5 weeks to get the SSN...and i still don't have it...

04/03/2012 Received text and email of EAD card production.

04/05/2012 Received text and email of EAD card mailed.

This is one reason I do not want to change my mailing address until everything's over.
