02/08/2012 AOS Application Sent.

02/14/2012 NOA Hard Copy Received for EAD and AOS in mail 2/14/2012.

03/01/2012 Biometrics letter received. Bio scheduled at 3pm on 03/29.

03/29/2012 Successful Biometrics. In & out only 20 mins.

04/03/2012 Received text and email of EAD card production.

04/05/2012 Received text and email of EAD card mailed.

04/06/2012 Received EAD Card.

Hi everybody!

I just got back from the interview. It was the nicest and easiest interview possible, in my opinion...We got there exactly at 1 30pm but the lady who interviewed us called us in at 2pm. She started with my husband, asking him the common questions like: date of birth, address, his full name, where he was born, she only asked for my passport and his ID. Basically the interview was more like a chat, we gave her more explanations than she asked for and she listened very patient. She asked me the yes/no questions and the same basic questions and of course, how we met and we told her the short story.She also asked us about the wedding but i told her we didn't had one yet and we shared our plans for future. She said the case looks like it will be approved but we need to wait for the answer in the next days. She didn't asked for any papers, didn't looked on any pictures...in the end she asked us if the interview was as bad as we thought and i told her that we weren't worried at all because we have nothing to hide. We were the last interview that she had so i guess she was already bored and she didn't wanted to keep us longer. We got out of the building around 2 40...so it was half an hour of wait and half an hour the interview. Now we just have to wait i guess...

Good luck to you all and as long as your case is not very complicated and you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't be worried or nervous!

I think I have everything set for Monday, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything:

-Bank statements with both names

-Car insurance with both names on it(I'm taking the card that has both names)

-His military life insurance with me as beneficiary

-DEERS letter of enrollment(a proof of Health/Dental insurance with my name and the date the coverage started)

-My military spouse ID

-His orders and ERB

-Verizon bill with me as Authorized User

- Verizon call log with all his calls highlighted(he usually calls me 4 or 5 times a day)

-Cards, letters, pictures of us

-Cards and letters his parents/family sent to us

-Some military related letter addressed to me

-My ticket confirmation(yes..I bought it. I got a farelock thing so I can hold the reservation for 7 days)

-His last pay stub and out 2011 taxes plus his W2's

-All original documents I need to have with me.

-Our wedding photobook and cards of people congratulating us, plus the invitation

-A scrapbook I have ever since we've met

the only thing is missing for this preparation is the AOS approval :thumbs: , you good to go, and wish u all the best. and u can add some restaurant or shopping receipts, I think u have more than enough.
