July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

Exciting news today! I usually put in my receipt number in USCIS each morning to check on any changes.

Today - "On April 24, 2012, we ordered production of your new card..."

Exciting! Now time to get a job. LoL

Ha, just posted the same question in the March thread as it has happened to me also. Got first notification on the 20th and the 2nd today.

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

no stress, you both should still get your card by monday latest.

For those who got their EAD delivered 4 days from first 'card production' (e.g Luiyer, djkurious):

Did you get a 2nd 'card production' notice?

If yes, how many days apart?

......I'm just trying to understand what determines how soon it gets delivered

02/08/2012 AOS Application Sent.

02/14/2012 NOA Hard Copy Received for EAD and AOS in mail 2/14/2012.

03/01/2012 Biometrics letter received. Bio scheduled at 3pm on 03/29.

03/29/2012 Successful Biometrics. In & out only 20 mins.

04/03/2012 Received text and email of EAD card production.

04/05/2012 Received text and email of EAD card mailed.

04/06/2012 Received EAD Card.

not really... i got a combo too but it took 9 days from first 'card production' notice date.

so it seems..... your EAD should get to you 4 days from your last 'card production' notice date.

For some, they get only one 'card production' notice hence faster delivery of the EAD

Mine took 9 days too from "approval" to when I had it in hand.

I noticed that djkurious is adjusting from a K1, not sure about Luiyer-- but I know that K1 adjustees follow a slightly quicker progression and generally avoid the interview also. Perhaps this is also a factor in the shorter EAD arrival time and non 2nd "card in production" notification?

Day 63: 04/28/12: EAD in hand!

Day 74: 05/09/12: Interview date scheduled for June 12th.

Day 75: 05/10/12: Interview letter in hand.

Day 108: 06/12/12: Interview.

Day 110: 06/14/12: Received I-485 & I-130 approval emails.

Day 114: 06/18/12: Received I-130 & I-485 Approval hardcopies.

Day 115: 06/19/12: Received GC in production email.

Day 116: 06/20/12: Received "GC mailed" & "USPS picked up your GC" emails.

Day 118: 06/22/12: GC arrived in the mail

March 16th 2014: Eligible to file ROC.

March 16th 2015: Eligible to file for naturalization.

I noticed that djkurious is adjusting from a K1, not sure about Luiyer-- but I know that K1 adjustees follow a slightly quicker progression and generally avoid the interview also. Perhaps this is also a factor in the shorter EAD arrival time and non 2nd "card in production" notification?

Luiyer is on H2B visa, so it may not necessarily be due to that, as BobGee (K1 visa) got his EAD in 8 days.

but the interval between the 1st and 2nd "card in production" notifications even varies but seem to be 5 days for most cases
