AOS package sent to Chicago lockbox on Feb 10th, interview today (see sig).

10 Feb 2012 - I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 sent to Chicago Lockbox (arrived 14 Feb 2012)
21 Feb 2012 - All NOAs received, address changed for all forms via USCIS online form
28 Feb 2012 - Biometrics done (walk-in because they scheduled us for the Chicago office)
26 Mar 2012 - Notice received for AOS interview
24 Apr 2012 - Interview date
01 May 2012 - Approved

07 Apr 2014 - I-751 receipt & 1 yr extension received

Got a Welcome Letter yesterday. It says within 3 weeks (hope earlier than that biggrin.gif) I will be receiving my GC!

I'm making a binder(those you can buy at target, for like $2) I bought a bunch of plastic folder and I'm organizing each section of the paperwork: Taxes,W2's, all the documents we have jointly.(bank accounts, credit cards, car insurance etc...) Letters addressed to both of us, cards/letters/chats between us... this way, if they ask me for a specific item, it will be easier to find :innocent:

2/10/2012 I-130,I485,I-765 Touched

I used a plastic folder and put documents on it. Then I put tabs and named them (serves like a bookmark) easy to find them in a binder.

To make it easier, synchronize all documents from USCIS (like NOAs, Appointment); insurances (health, life, car); name on bills (phone, rent); photos in an album...

Yes...i have a binder and plastic dividers with pockets to write every category....i just don't know the categories :)...there are so many...i have letters for recommendation from friends,his father, his grandma, from us saying the reason why we live here and not in my country, the title of the car with our both names, cars insurances, the bank account, our birth certificates, passports, i had to made an Ohio ID so i can put the plates from the car on my name as well and i will add that too because it has my name and the address, phone bill, receipts from my ring and from Christmas presents and birthdays, letter from his sister for Halloween with both names and address, a letter that i have send him when i was back home, tax return, his last 3 pay stubs, our airplane tickets, the papers that i already send. Photos are already organized in an album with dates, places and persons, but we didn't had a wedding yet so no pics from a wedding. Like i said...there are a lot... Do you think i have enough, do i miss anything? Oh...we don't have any other bills because we live with his father, that is why he wrote a letter for us...

Exciting news today! I usually put in my receipt number in USCIS each morning to check on any changes.

Today - "On April 24, 2012, we ordered production of your new card..."

Exciting! Now time to get a job. LoL

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
