Goodluck Kyaw, Sure you'll get your EAD before then. Wish my local office would do things as fast and not just sip tea at their desk all day. Do keep us posted too. I made this AOS February 2012 F

Update: Received EAD card today!

For some reason, it is listed in her maiden name. Is that normal?

What last name did you fill on the I-765 form? If it's not her maiden name, then the error is USCIS's. and you can have it corrected, I think.

But dont worry If such error isn't repeated on the GC as you wont have any need for the EAD once you get the GC

According to the time-line table for Feb Filers, it is around 60 days from filing to EAD Card Production.

There i no evidence that early walk-ins receive their EAD's any earlier.

Background Information

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

I received my EAD today - but didn't get a combined EAD & AP??

Online it says my AP has been aproved however?

03 Mar 2012, Day 23 RFE returned with info

Finally seeing some action! I just received a notification about scheduled interview.

Testing and Interview On April 9, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for May 11, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice.

02/08/2012 AOS Application Sent.

02/14/2012 NOA Hard Copy Received for EAD and AOS in mail 2/14/2012.

03/01/2012 Biometrics letter received. Bio scheduled at 3pm on 03/29.

03/29/2012 Successful Biometrics. In & out only 20 mins.

04/03/2012 Received text and email of EAD card production.

04/05/2012 Received text and email of EAD card mailed.

04/06/2012 Received EAD Card.
