wait a minute.. a timeline and a 10 year documentation of residency are two different things.. there is no 10 year timeline... a timeline is a timeline of the relationship.. a 10 year documentation of residency is a list of where you lived, dates, whith whom phone #'s etc... you need to be sure what it really says...

Good catch. 10 year residency documentation is different. I just read the timeline part. Also means there may be more questions they have.

ahh. im waiting for the paper to get over here. my sister in-law is on her way over from vietnam when she was visiting for tet. so once i get the full real details ill update. but for now the 10year residency seems easier then the relationship timeline just because the timeline seems like they need more info on the relationship and they will have more question and the residency seems like they just wanna know where i lived etc.

are there examples for how to write up a 10 year or is it basically make a list kinda thing. but i will have the sheet in hand by saturday. wonder if its in english or vietnamese... hmm

i want to thank everyone that has responded to this makes me have a better feeling in my stomach and praying for pink soon.

My fiance was asked to submit a timeline and a 10 year residency for me and a 10 year residency for her. These documents are very common documents listed on a Blue slip. Prepare the timeline and 10 year residency documents and follow the instructions on the Blue slip for when you should submit them. Good luck.

i must be a idiot because i cant seem to find any examples of residency...or how it is formatted ahhh.

I don't think I have ever seen examples of the residency letter. Just do a simple format where you have the years and the addresses you have lived at for the last 10 years. Make sure you also list any others living at the same address at the same time as you. Notarize it after.

hey

Below is what i had for my proof of 10 years residency. Like i said in my previous post, my timeline, apart from this proof of 10 years residency, was very detailed with pictures. If you want your fiance/wife over here quickly, you gotta do it right this time, as i think this is pretty much your last chance. Tisk tisk for not doing it right the first time when you're a member of this forum.

Timeline

hey,

yeah i did it in an essay format. I found these questions from a previous post and kinda made it my goal to answer all these questions. It thougth it was easier to just write a timeline in chronoloocial order from when we've met to engagement but covering these fields of questions. Also pictures made what i write more interesting and believable so i add them within the timeline.

Hope this helps and good luck!
