Aloha ,

I filled for AOS on January 9th for a green card and a EAD.

60 more or so is the average waiting period ????

I read in the forums that prior to receive an EAD you will get notify by the USCIS with a printed receipt stating that your card (EAD) have been ordered and print

Is that true ??

what is that printed receipt ??

I received a Notification stating that they are reviewing my case and all my fees have been paid, will i receive another notification ??

Thank you for your time and help

Printed receipt is hard copy of Notice of Action I-797C form. And yes if you create an account on uscis website, they will notify you when the cases are updated. You will receive biometrics appointment soon. It usually takes 60 days (no Request for Evidence) to get EAD and 90 days to get an interview (not applicable to all local center.)
