Evidence for Interview

Along with our I-129F packet, we sent a huge packet of evidence that proves we met each other and have a genuine relationship. His interview is a week from Tuesday at the US embassy in London, and he was wondering whether or not he needs to being the same stuff we already submitted in the petition. We haven't visited each other since we sent it, so we have no new evidence besides chat logs. We talk on webcam everyday so we never use phone calls, and sadly there is no proof of that. So should he bring the original proof we submitted, or will they already have access to it during his interview?

Any other suggestions on what else to bring?

Also! Will he need to show his bank information, or will most of it be about MY bank information and not his?

Thank you!

Progress so far:

London will not ask you for one speck of evidence that you have met, are engaged, are on Skype all the time, etc. Nothing.

You only need to prove your current income. You can do that with a tax return, letter from employer, pay stubs. Bank statements work if they show regular direct deposit of pay checks for example. If your income was quite low, and he had a big stash of cash, then his bank statements might help convince the officer he won't become a public charge. If your income is enough, then he doesn't need to show anything.

Even though London most likely won't ask for it, you may be able to produce video/voice call logs. Skype should track them as does Yahoo, and Ventrillo. I know because we have evidence from all three that we submitted. They show times the call initiated, and the times the calls ended. To access Yahoo logs, you would right click on his ID, and choose "Conversation History". This is printable. On Skype, you can use this nifty little tool: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html to access your call history. On Ventrillo, you can just download the server logs.

I have over 190 pages of video/voice/chat logs to submit for evidence when we resubmit.

Nich-Nick is right, you won't need anything like that in London. But if you want to take the original items you submitted then do, in an organised fashion.

It is more important for him to have the correct forms, passport pics, his passport and the I-134 all filled out nicely.

Read reviews of the London embassy K1 interviews to see what people are being asked for, it's really helpful!

Hi Alyssa

Good luck to you guys on the interview.

I have my interview just a few days behind you. Did you receive just the standard packet 4? did it ask for anything special/different than you expected?

I am in the US at the moment, returning to UK for my interview so will only collect the packet 4 letter last minute. I have assembled all that is required as far as im concerned. I just dont want to collect my packet 4 letter on the way to the interview, only to discover that they need my certificate of having swam one width of the pool when I was 4.

Thanks!
