You do not need bank account info if your previous years tax statement is above the Federal poverty guidelines. If it's just the 2 of you ? $18,387.00 (Form I-864P)

Yes,

It will be the GROSS of his income. Before anything is taken out. Taxes, Medicare, Money to Support Obama's Personal Trips, Republican's New Ride, "The Man's Healthcare Program"

whatever they take out of his paychecks is irrelevant. Only what he makes total year.

The US Embassy is fully aware of what is taken out of taxes so they took that into consideration when setting up the I-184P. They just made it easier for everyone.

Imagine if someone had to go through all their deductions for the month to figure out if they made the cut?? Lots of people have a hard time doing a 1040EZ alone...

so they just make it easier.

You might want to open a joint bank account so you can prove finance co-mingling. Also, before sending in paperwork, I hope you have a plan for how to be able to pay for your AOS/etc. I'm not sure how to put this nicely, but that isn't very much money he's getting... And no bank account sounds like no savings either.

Hope it all works out.

Yes, that isn't very much at all and it really depends on where you live too.

For instance:

http://www.bestplaces.net/

That is the website that will show you cost of living. Just enter the city where your fiacee lives to help determine everything. That is just something you have to look at.

Just like Philippines, it is cheaper to live in Cavite than living in Makati

San Diego:

The median home cost in San Diego is $392,000. Home appreciation the last year has been -2.34 percent.

Compared to the rest of the country, San Diego'scost of living is 39.10% Higher than the U.S. average.

Tacoma Washington

The median home cost in Tacoma is $226,300. Home appreciation the last year has been -7.08 percent.

Compared to the rest of the country, Tacoma's cost of living is 12.90% Higher than the U.S. average.

Wilmington, North Carolina

The median home cost in Wilmington is $210,500. Home appreciation the last year has been -6.06 percent.Compared to the rest of the country, Wilmington'scost of living is 7.70% Higher than the U.S. average.

Greenwich, CT

Compared to the rest of the country, Greenwich's cost of living is 149.70% Higher than the U.S. average. The median home cost in Greenwich is $1,019,200. Home appreciation the last year has been -1.86 percent.

thank you so much for your help im still worried because he doesnt have any savings its not fun to live alone like he does but still he can able to support me though. he is paying his house but not car anymore. also when they deducted everything the result will be very low income although it would be like that already.

You can also use assets. He can use his house as an asset and it is one of the questions on the affidavit forums.

If you still think that you are cutting it close, you can always find a joint sponsor. Better to be safe than sorry.

And good job looking out for your man. Every little helps when it comes to the immigration paperwork.

I was stressed out for days doing all the paperwork for mines. I was doing all of it to make it as easy as possible for my fiancee.

It is bad enough that she is leaving her family and country, I didn't want to add insult to injury because she has 50 pages to do.
