Hi All,

I am getting ready to apply for my passport in atlanta GA. I called about 2 or 3 USPS centers and was given available dates for late february. Does anyone know of any USPS office in/around atlanta that accept walk-ins?

Thank you in advance.

Georgia's Gateway to the Gulf Coast-Decatur County, Established 1823 ... 2010

County of ... A passport application can be either picked-up from the Clerk of

Court's office or downloaded from www.travel.state.gov. ... Atlanta, Ga 30334 ...

While the Stockbridge USPS office says appointments required, both my husband and I have just walked in. Sometimes there is a short wait but usually not. Here is their information. http://iafdb.travel....AFID=81895&vs=0 I am not sure where you are in Atlanta, but Stockbridge is about 22 miles south of mid-town directly off of I-75 south. I am going to the post office tomorrow so I will double check to ensure there isn't a policy change that now requires appointments, but I see walk-ins all the time.

Here is a link you can also use to find out offices near you that accept passport applications: http://iafdb.travel.state.gov/ via your zipcode. You could then call some of the ones listed and see if they take walk-ins.
