Hey Guys at VJ! I have a few questions about the AoS and EAD and AP Process.

I've done a lot of reading on these and it's a bit overwhelming! There are still some parts that are a bit unclear that I might not understand! Please correct me wherever I am wrong.

Currently i'm still in the early stages of the K-1 Visa process, I recently just got the NOA-2 and the letter from NVC saying it will be sent to the embassy where my fiance lives (Taiwan)

My fiance will do packet 3&4 as soon as she gets it and attend the interview and obtain the visa to enter the USA.

After she enters, in the first 1.5 weeks. We will get married at a courthouse(we had a super good engagement party at Taiwan already) and obtain the marriage certificate.

After obtaining the marriage certificate (Hopefully within 1.5 weeks of her entering) We will apply for the AoS & EAD & AP forms all in one (They can all 3 be applied for at once correct?)

So within the first 1.5 weeks she enters, we will get married, and apply for the AoS/EAD/AP. After that we will go on a short ~10 day honeymoon also in the US (is this OK?)

Now the part that gets hazy is that her family (that is in Taiwan) wishes to take us for a trip in Europe after we get married.

However, since when she enters the US she can no longer leave unless she gets the AoS, the Europe trip date can't be determined until we get approved for those forms (correct?)

My question is how long does it usually take to get those three approved or scheduled interview after mailing it?

And also, will the AP form allow us to go on that Europe trip, if it does get approved.

Thanks VJ! Please correct me where I am wrong! :)

1) yes the questions can all be applied for at one with ne fee sent

2)a honeymoon is fine as long as it is in the US

3) as for the trip to europe, check the estimated timelines for AP and then give yourself another month after that in case something takes longer, also, I understand that you want to book as early as possible to save money, so book it and make sure your trip has an extensive insurance policy or wait until you get the AP doc then pay for the trip
