EAD timing (K-1 route)?

Hi, my fiance is a K-1 visa holder and right after getting married he is going to apply for an EAD at the same time as applying for AOS. Can other K-1 visa applicants tell me how long it took you to receive your EAD after you applied at the same time as applying for AOS? Also, how long did it take you to get AOS approval? Thanks much!

USCIS as the main source of processing times would be 3 months for EAD. here's the link; https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do and then you select local office, which service center(e.g. California Service Center) or NBC(national benefits center).

So on VJ, the average is around the same as USCIS put on their webpage, maybe a little less. It goes up and down. For AOS it depends on which local office the AOS goes to, or if it goes to CSC for a speedier process(that's not always the case though).

I just got an email yesterday saying that my EAD has been approved. It took 54 days, our NOA is December 15th. Ours was pretty quick though, i wasn't expecting to get it so soon because there are people who have been waiting longer than we have. Also, our AOS didn't get sent to CSC for faster processing but we have been scheduled for interview on March 6th.

My ead came in 2 months and Gc in about 3 months

I got my EAD card a little over 2 months after we submitted our AOS packet.
