The US Embassy has nothing to do with SSN. You need to go to an SSN office in the USA to apply for it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

well apparently my husband's screwed for taxes then

He could always file an amended return later on when the issue is fixed and your son gets his SSN.

If your son got a US passport with the CRBA couldn't you UPS / Fedex it to your husband and he can use that to get the SSN?

we don't have any photo id or i would have sent it we didn't get a passport bc i would be crossing by land and we didn't have the extra money to get him the passport anyways i would have to send him the birth abroad since i have all my son's info since he's in my care so you can see why i'm trying to get more options i could go to the bellingham office but i would need a permission letter to cross if they let that's the other problem since i'm still going though immigration to bad i couldn't fedex our son to my husband :P
