:crying::crying: My heart aching to be with my husband it has been a very long waiting period..i wish i never have left the us , when u try to do everything the right way then u go thru a heart breakin i run out of the patient :help::crying:

Sorry Deepvision for what you are going through.. I think the petitioner has to involve his senator or congresman on the case. And you guys have follow up with that office periodically. Because when the embassy is answering to the congressmen/women, they have to make a progress although they are independent namely but they have more respect for them than the average people.

1. Choice one of the popular senators or congresman that is also up for re-election

2. meet their immigration community representative and chanell your messages in their. Put all your efforts in here, this is the only option that can yield results at the end.

I did it for myself for my wife and it took me 28 days to be out of this black hole in the immigration law....

Hope you get out soon

good luck

bye

is it better to email the consul general or send him a lettere?? and also can i have my husband write it then i can print it out and mail it from morocco instead of mail it from usa to get there faster

I don't think your husband should write anything; The petitioner needs to do it; so just write few letters explaining your situation; also state in the letter specifically how long have you been in AP and the norm for Morocco. (so that way they can see it has been over the norm); it doesn't need to be long but just to the point. I faxed over notorized letter to the US embassador in Cairo and fax over the same letter to two congressmen from my state. After few days, I have recieved a call from the congresmen's office; (my letter was regarding the extreme long wait time in Cairo for getting an interview scheduled; the embassy had been behind on interview dates for over 4months or so; do to revolution last year-well the revolution is not my problem they should get more people to process it or work overtime like we do in the US:) so I just kind of said that in a nice pleading way). My husband finally got an interview after 5 or 6 months which was a normal (delayed wait time) but he did not need to go through an AP process; He had an interview 12/15 and visa was granted 12/20. I'm not sure if this was because of my requests but just writing the letters of plead for assistance made me feel much better. Try it, it doesn't hurt and see what happens :)

So what your husband is a Police officer. So many Moroccans are committing fraud so you my dear just have to deal with it. It's about time they stop favoring females over the males.

I'm sorry to hear about your long wait deepvison :( My husband has been in AP since October 21, 2011 (106 days so far). He is a UK citizen and currently lives in London, but he grew up in Morocco. Not knowing how long it will take is the most difficult part... I hope that your visa approval is right around the corner. Good luck to everyone!

God delays but doesn't forget.

So what your husband is a Police officer. So many Moroccans are committing fraud so you my dear just have to deal with it. It's about time they stop favoring females over the males.

:ot:

Is it true that they are favoring woman over men???

I have not seen many male petitioners on here fighting for spouses associated with MENA...it might be true.

Why is this? The problems that lead people to commit fraud is for both genders there...how come so many harsh bias denials on only men coming from Morocco? Do they not view the same reasons for woman attempting a visa??

While I am writing ...I will put my 2 cents in

I am a strong independent woman and always have been...We found love, applied for a visa, paid all fees, showed proof as requested so why am I penalized for the past happenings in Morocco? Now instead of living with my love and marrying him here where my home is, where my girls are finishing school, where my older mother lives, and where I have been since birth...I took a 3rd flight to Morocco, and started the painful, unsure process over again. Double or Triple the fees coming up...medical again for him, that is IF I get the NOA2 and IF gets back to CASA. and IF he gets interviewed again....We might have a chance.

This some messed up sh... going on and no one can do a thing about it

Thanks I needed to vent
