Wow this is an extremely long AP wait time; the usaual wait time is 3 months ( for egypt); I would check the Morocco's normal AP timeframe. It should be on US embassy website. Also, try contacting some people at the embassy to see why it's taking so long...Maybe write few letters to some "heads" there...that usally gets them moving or at least will give you more info on why it's so long...Good luck

I know how you feel. It is really hard to do things the right way when waiting feels like such a punishment. Sometimes I feel like USCIS doesn't care about me and my family at all, but I know that (somehow) they are trying to make life safe and pleasant for us all. Stay strong, and try to remember that nothing bad lasts forever. Once we get through this waiting period we will be so happy that we did things the right way. Living in any country "illegally" is no way to live.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

well yeah...i have a laywer too but my lawyer did not write a letter to our congressmen and the usa embassador (Patterson) in egypt to get my husband here quicker: I DID!!! :yes: do not depend on a lawyer for everything sometimes you just need to take matters in ur own hands :D

you need to make some noise so they can hear you...they have tons of cases...so keep bothering someone on the "top" of this "food chain" and they will get it moving :help::bonk:

Where did you write Patterson? Does she have an email? or did you sent certified mail.

is it better to email the consul general or send him a lettere?? and also can i have my husband write it then i can print it out and mail it from morocco instead of mail it from usa to get there faster
