Hello all, I'm just curious to have a general idea from you all. I realized i and my fiance chatted from March 3rd, 2011 till this day on gtalk alone, not to mention about 17,000 chat messages on facebook and tons of skype messages/calls from from June and July 2010 till date. On the gtalk alone i wanted to take 3 days chat messages randomly from each month till date and the chat lines from the random 3 days of the Month of March, 2011 occupied 7 pages in MS word which i think it's too much since i will be printing all the months. My question is, what's reasonable enough to be printed along with other evidence of ongoing relationship to send along with I-129/K-1 petition?

[You apparently haven't filed your petition yet. Check the "Embassy Info" and "Reviews: Embassy" links (atop every VJ page) to see how "front-loaded" your petition package should be for YOUR consulate.

If you include any chats, select a representative sample that spans the timeline of your relationship, and choose those that YOU want the consulate to read. (USCIS will not care about this evidence, but they will forward it to your consulate.) Be SURE that in NONE of them do you refer to yourselves as "husband"/"wife" -- even if it was in fun. Avoid including any selections in which you think that you should black out any lines of text (too personal, etc.).

You can go to the Subsaharan Africa regional subforum and search for material about your consulate.

Edited to add: Alternatively, you could include a log of subject lines or message titles, as long as you avoid the "husband/wife" situation above.

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
