Hi everybody,

I am about to send in the whole I-130 packet and have some last minute confusion due to some things I've read, like for example this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350330-i-130-last-minute-questions/

I thought that the G-325a was just a form that both I (petitioner) and my husband (beneficiary) would have to fill out. As far as I can tell it is just ONE PAGE that asks for some basic information. Nevertheless, some people are talking about attaching photos to it. I see absolutely NO mention of photos in the form instructions. Do photos need to be attached to the form?

The only reference I have seen to photos so far is the request for ONE passport size photo for myself and ONE for him, which is mentioned in the I-130 instructions for Proving a family relationship.

Can someone help me with this photo issue?

Also the instructions on the I-130 say it is not necessary to repeat the same info on the G-325a as in the I-130. However, my impression is that most people ARE repeating it...is that right?

Thanks so much!

Yes, to be safe fill I-130 and 325A (both) in full. Better safe than sorry.

On passport sized photo, there is only two, one for you and one for beneficiary.

Then as a proof of continual marriage, you can submit more photos taken together and other stuff ..... not passport sized.

I submitted my I-130 yesterday. Below is the stuff I included and I suggest you do the same. It is better to have too much than not enough.

• Receipt of payment of $420 USD

• Form G-1145

• Form I-130 duly completed and signed

• Petitioner:

o Form G325A

o Copy of birth certificate

o Copy of U.S. passport

o Passport type photograph

o Copy of Peruvian Carnet de Extranjeria (front & back) (Does not apply to you)

o Copy of the Divorce Decree of first marriage

• Beneficiary:

o Form G325A

o Passport type photograph

• Evidence of bona fide relationship:

o Letter explaining our relationship history, marriage and our future plans together

o Copy of our certified marriage certificate

o Documentation showing co-mingling of finances

o Lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence

o Affidavits from third parties with knowledge of marital relationship

o Photographs

o Airline flight tickets

They kept everything except the flight ticket copies and our various personal photos (they did keep the marriage photos). I duplicated all the information you are refering to on the G-325A & I-130. I also read that it wasn't required but why not do it? it wasn't a big deal.

If you read the guides it clearly states to include 1 passport photo attached to the form

http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

11.G-325A filled out by the US Citizen, signed and dated.12.One passport-type photo (see specification) of the petitioner. Write the full name on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.

It even says the same thing for the non-US citizen fill the form out and attach a passport photo to the back of it.

Ok, so with one passport picture each we should be fine. Thanks for the answers!
