Yep, they told me to expect to receive a interview date approximately 5 weeks from the date forms were logged they emailed me this this morning so I guess it's gone up a week since they wrote to you

Hi everyone. Does anybody have any idea how long US Embassy London is taking to give interview dates for K1 Fiancee Visa? My fiancee lives in London and had her medical exam over 2 weeks ago. We submitted all the forms to the Embassy in London back in September and today we filled out form DS-260 online to be safe.

Does anybody have any idea how much longer she should expect to wait until she receives her letter with interview date (packet 4)? She is aiming to fly in on the K1 visa by mid November. Does this seem out of the question time wise?

Read the previous few posts above yours or my thread with the subject title for those waiting for a interview date.do you know if the forms have been logged by the embassy yet? It can take some time for them to log them mine took 5 weeks after I sent them. But basically you are looking at a five week wait after both forms and medical results have been logged

I wouldn't bank on mid November if I'm honest as It seems there is quite a wait right now but like I said it all depends on if your forms have been logged

We sent ours on August 29 and they were logged September 6. I emailed the embassy last week and they said wait approximately 4 weeks from the log date to be informed of an interview date. Emailed them this morning as its been 4 weeks and still nothing.

I really thought you would have had a interview date by now jola83 . If they told you 5 weeks I better be prepared to wait till December befor getting a interview then. God what a wait. Everything moved so quickly before our file got to London. Now London's the holdup. Let us know when you get your interview date thanks.

It's not silly at all ,it can be confusing if you don't look deep into it ,there Is alot of stuff I wouldn't know without this site,basically logged means they have opened up the envelope with your forms in and acknowledged they are in receipt of them by logging it onto your file ,many people confuse submitting their forms and them being logged.it can take weeks after submitting your forms before they are actually logged .

I guess it depends on luck ,alot of people who sent their forms after the date I sent mine had their forms logged before I did ,

But you can find out by calling department of state ,you will need your case number and just simply ask them if the embassy has all the required documents

Luckily the 5 week countdown starts from the date they received my forms which was Sept 9th so exactly 5 weeks from that date is October 14th so I'm expecting to receive a interview date sometime around that time and expecting a interview date for some time in November ,so possibly ill have to change my wedding date which adds more stress as my finances window for deployment opens start of December ,so I'm hoping luck is on our side and the air force don't send him off some where til at least January

Is it counted from the day they receive the form or the date they log in the forms? Our form was received on the 3rd of September but only logged on the 4th of October. If it's 5 weeks from when they received it then our 5 weeks is up on Tuesday coming. I don't know if I even believe the information they give any more.

They logged my forms Sept 9th but I actually sent them August 8th so I think that makes me. About a month ahead of u as far as timelines go

Ok I see now. I thought they meant 5 weeks from when they got the forms. I guess I got another 5 weeks of waiting.
