Hi Jola83

To be honest with you all I did was take the very valuable advice of lost at sea and Azsara, Nich-Nick and all the stuff they post on the forum that's what greatly helped me. Truly appreciate all the help they have given all of us. Lost at sea advices me not to wait send in everything if I had not heard from them. It so happened she was right cos guess what they still have not posted me packet 3 but they received it from me cos i downloaded it myself. All I am just waiting for now is a interview date. Azsara says it will take some few weeks to get that in the post then onwards and forward. How far have you gotten?

Hey Jola83

Just seen your timeline

Your almost there too. I imagine your waiting on interview date like me right? You filed in January and had a rfe. I was lucky I overloaded stuff they wanted and stuff they never asked for so no rfe. In honesty did a lot of reading on the site again from Nich-nicks valuable thread helped a lot. When do you plan to POE? I was thinking to leave dec 26th just waiting on the interview to pass before paying for the ticket. When I get there hopefully I won't be sitting at home two long waiting for work authorisation I am keen to get a nursing job in Atlanta soon as work authorisation comes. Lucky for me I have a nurse licence there already took the licensure exam years back so I just keep renewing It every two years to maintain it. Don't think it will be to difficult to get a job.

Did your packet 3 take long to arrive?

Good plan. I didn't know if you read that other post I made. There are times when things aren't received for whatever reason. People have waited 3-4 months and finally get a letter saying "are you going to apply for a visa or what"? The embassy seems to be a little slow right now and say to wait, but after no sign of them being received after a month, then I would quit calling and checking and just send again.

Yea that's what I figured,I wasn't willing to wait any longer for them to contact me.I've came across a few other people who sent their forms the same time as me still waiting also so it's probably the fact the embassy is just slow .but I've sent those other forms just incase ,I've done all I can do

Just wondering if anyone can help me.

I have my interview at 8.30am in the morning and I checked the coach timetable and the earliest I can get to London Victoria is 7.20am, Im worried I'll be rushing if I got there at 7.20am. Does anyone know if there are any cheap hotels near by?

Thanks

Yea i dont expect it would update until after your interview has actually taken place! If it helps, try to find somewhere local and then maybe print yourself out a map tonight with instructions on how to get there, even if its just round the corner, thats what i did for my medical in a couple of weeks. Mostly because im useless and ill panic otherwise!
