You know sometimes I wish we didn't have access to so much info...!?! I think I would be a little calmer if I just had to wait! The CEAC thing is annoying me, as they haven't yet updated it since Aug 6th, despite my sending in my D forms on the 15th. Kinda wish I didn't know about CEAC so I wasn't always checking it! rolleyes.gif

My interview's a week today, AAAAAAAAAAA! I had a nightmare the other night that I went to the interview and they made me stand in a security room with see through glass and take all my clothes off, then made me go through to the interview naked. I can't remember what the outcome was, but I remember arguing with someone afterwards because they wouldn't give me my knickers back.

Yes, I will be glad once the interview is over with.

They logged my forms around 2 weeks after I sent them, and issued me an interview date from 4 weeks after that. So I sent my DS -2001 on the 8th of august, they logged my forms on the 20th August and my interview date is the 24th September smile.png

Ok so that was not so bad of a wait we'll go head and send DS-2001 and speed up the process.

Thank you :)

Hi Azsara,

My case is in transit to the London embassy from NVC now, the lassie at NVC said it left on the 23rd of this month, so assuming it should arrive within the next week, do you think it's ok for me to send in my forms saying I'm ready?

cheers in advance

Your medical results will not arrive at the embassy until Sept 13 or 15 if all goes well. So getting your forms in and saying you are ready way early has no effect on getting an interview. Why not just wait until London says they have your file all set up and are prepared to receive your submissions as the safer route?

Has anybody read this notice posted on the London website?

Note: Only applicants who been notified by the Immigrant Visa Unit that a petition has been received in their name should complete the visa application forms. Forms received without the applicant's case number will be discarded.

It kinda indicates they would like you to wait and not cause them extra work by going out of order. Just an idea to consider waiting a week. You file may still be at the mail facility.

May I ask what people found to be the availability for medical appointments? I am aggravatingly still waiting for a supporting letter from my GP, and I don't want to book anything until I have that in hand. When you called Knightsbridge were they pretty open? I'd love to get this ball rolling again, as soon as it's within my power!

There was a 2 week waiting list when I called them! That was about 3 weeks ago! In which case if its the same you'd be safe to book the medical now
