I think this group would be lost without all your help :)

THANK YOU!!

You are welcome. I think you would all be fine and probably less stressed if you just waited for instructions from USCIS, NVC, and London and read everything and took it in turn. That's how I did it. I had no guidance or peer group to compare worries with for the London part. Each step is sent in due time by mail. Everything you need is on the website really. If they say look at a link for further information, then you best darn well look at it. But many can't read apparently or they want a shortcut or they want to skip ahead a step or they want an instant update of what is happening day by day. It gets people worked up and second guessing themselves. Not speaking to anybody in particular, but sometimes I need a nap after reading this forum because your worries exhaust me and I'm not applying for anything. Be calm kids. It will all work out. :P

Off topic: Want to know the two phrases I hate most??

"This is so stressful."

"Better safe than sorry."

Hahaha I don't know why but those are like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'm weird.

Can anyone advise me, on the electronic form DS 156 Question 17 I ticked divorced in the next question it asks for Spouses full name (even if divorced) do I fill this in with my ex husband details?

Anne

Oops Anne2012 was trying to reply to your post - the answer is yes, I put in the name of my ex-husband for that question.

For others thinking of, or afraid to travel to the U.S. while waiting for their interview I've just done it today with my children in order to get them started at school next week. Our POE was Houston and all I was asked was what was the purpose of our trip (holiday) and who did I know in Austin (Fiancé) and have I been there before (Yes, lots of times). I wasn't asked how long we were staying nor did there seem to be any awareness that I had a K-1 pending. We did our medicals and I sent in our packet 3 forms last week.

depend where you are dialling from but in general

+44 then the number above with the leading 0 left out. So, + 44 8706067766 for example

In most countries the + gets you the international line, its different in the US than the UK but the + should work wherever you are.

Fantastic news! Congratulations. It ends up being a bit of an anti-climax, doesn't it?

Hahaha I don't know why but those are like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'm weird.

In this forum it is:

'We can't possibly be apart'

Oh yes you can - we all have to go through this.

And recently:

'I am visiting my fiance on the VWP and we intend to marry a couple of weeks after I get there. What do I need to do AOS afterwards?'

If it were really that easy, don't you think we would all be doing that? I've lost count of the number of threads that have been closed recently because of this.

My pet hate is "I've been waiting so long for my NOA2 - now it's arrived what do I need to do now ?"

To which I think "you need to wonder why you didn't spend the last five months reading up on what you need to do after the NOA2 arrives"

Thank you I'm in the US and I always dial 01144+the number to call my Fiance but this doesn't seem to work with these 800 numbers :/ unless they are busy or not taking calls at their call center...
