We watched this piece of sh!t by Bruce Willis called '16 Blocks'. It sucked a$$. My husband also insisted on renting King Kong, which also sucked.

16 Blocks was fairly by the numbers, but Richard Donner is a good director by and large (Superman 1, The Omen). He's a bit like Ridley Scott in that most of his movies from the 90's onward are pretty dire.

Watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants yesterday. Incredibly good movie about 4, 16 year old girls. Brought back so many wonderful memories. Very touching.

Films watched this weekend.....Jet Li in 'Unleashed'......and another look at 'GI Jane'.....and if I can persaude my husband to watch 'The Notebook' tonight as it still sits in its packaging

The Notebook? ....poor man.

Well my hubs rates the Notebook as his favourite ever movie!!

Be sure to have a box of tissues at the ready- this film made me cry more than any other. I was seriously in a fit of full blown sobbing!!

We saw RV a few weeks ago, it had a few really funny moments.....

I thought 16 Blocks was pretty good.....

You're a velly bad boy... but pretty funny. I've been trying to catch Cristina up on some of my favorite movies, we saw "Mostly Marta (which us Americans of course rape and call Martha). We also saw the the Quiet American, not bad, neither of us had seen it before, on the prelude to US involvement in the Vietnam War...or should I say Official involvement.

Scarface was on last night. Great movie - but I think it marks the point where Al Pacino decided that good acting was defined solely by how loudly you shout.

is ok.... like the cinematography.. but orlando still looks like a truant officer is about to walk outa the background and drag him away.

Little Miss Sunshine was good if you're a fan of the smaller films. Paul and I enjoyed it. We also rented Life Aquatic as we're both Royal Tenebaums fans - I really liked Life Aquatic, paul enjoyed it but not as much.

Oh and I also insisted on renting on VHS (dust it off!) Masters of the Universe. Class
