Should not be a problem if you do not travel after the expiration and before your oath and if at the time of your N-400 application your card had at least 6 months validity. This is from USCIS M-476:

If you apply for naturalization 6 months or more before the expiration date on your

Permanent Resident Card you do not have to apply for a new card.

If you apply for naturalization less than 6 months before the expiration date on your Permanent Resident Card, or do not apply for naturalization until your card has already expired, you must renew your card.

Then you can't travel internationally before becoming a U.S. citizen and getting a U.S. passport.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

For years, printed out those all important dates in 24 point fonts and pasted that to my refrigerator door, always going to my refrigerator door to make damn sure we met those dates

When my wife and stepdaughter received their ten year cards, couldn't live with those signs for ten years to remember to renew them. Was bad enough waiting one year for my wife and three years for my stepdaughter.

If you have done the same thing, wouldn't have your concerns or questions. But your answer relies strictly on how your field office feels and what side of the bed they got up that morning. Some may let it go, others may insist you renew your ten year card. At least show them you sent in your check and application, mainly your check.
