Ok... Soooo I need all the help I can get on this one.... Is working illegally in the US going to affect me when presenting my 601 waiver???? A lot of people told me I couldn't lie about working or anything on my paper work, but I know someone going thru the same process and his paralegal person told him to le and say he has never worked...... I'm super scared that this will affect my visa process??? Help has someone else been approved even though they worked illegally in the US?

Depends on the situation. For example if married to a US citizen, working illegally is overlooked. However, lying to USCIS is never overlooked, and there is usually some sort of papertrail if you work.

You are doing an adjustment of status and turning in a waiver? Dont u have to go to Juarez for that? If so, the lawyer told me that the waiver INCLUDES being in the US illegally AND working illegally. Thats what the waiver is for so i dont think you should be scared at all.

If u had to go to Juarez you arent doing an Adjustment of Status you're doing a CR1 LOL!!! Its ok. When did u have your first interview? And when do u have your waiver appointment? I am probably going to be down there this summer once USCIC gets to approving my petition :bonk:

And like i said, my lawyer said the waiver is NOT for criminal activity, just for the overstay and working illegaly in the country. Donw sweat it! Hope you are back home soon
