My fiancee and I are waiting for Packet 3 (invitation letter) from CDJ. We are preparing and gathering things and I have been using the Juarez info from this site. Is it still correct? I think that the cost of the medical has gone up? Any other changes? Would people that have been to their K-1 interviews in Juarez recently check over the info page and see if any changes are needed? If you are not able to make changes on that page could you please post them here.

Many thanks....

All that info looks correct. The medical fee might be a little more because of the fluctuating exchange rate being higher nowadays. I think it is safe to say the exam is around $200 USD.

All the up-to-date instructions for a K-1 interview can be found here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/K1%20PACKET%20COMPLETE%20_July2011%20UPDATES_.pdf

The part about insisting on a DS-3025 might be pointless though. They don't give vaccinations for K-1 applicants and do not do transcriptions, not even if you offer to pay more for it. You might want to ask the immigration officer at your POE if they would ever so kindly give you a copy of your medical forms because you desperately need them for when you apply to adjust status after you get married. They have made copies of things for people, even if doing it reluctantly.

Everything on that site is correct! My fiance just had his medical done yesterday and he paid $210 :)
