Just a heads up to everyone about the visa process, CSC

Hey everyone,

It's going to be 5 months for me soon so I decided to reach into my pockets and use my connections to attempt to move things along. I have friends who can personally talk to congressman/senators. Anyway I just got off the phone with a friend who called CSC on my behalf and told me CSC is officially on a 6 month average approval time. Along with that there is some serious budget cuts coming to these departments, so it's actually expected the wait could go back up to 1 year again sometime in the near future as they are expected to be more understaffed.

So for anyone who's thinking about starting this process get ready to wait a long time and for those in the process be thankful when you started. This is mainly for CSC. I'm not sure about Vermont.

There are several people who sent in their applications in September and have received approval already so I am not sure about that 6 month timeline.If anything CSC seems to be turning out a lot of petitions pretty fast.

Main point is things could see slow down again in the near future.
