Filed a K1 that will process through Caracas...we are waiting for NOA2 and based on timelines expect it any day now. We have basically everything ready for the interview including medical already completed and immunization records, affidavit of support, all embassy forms complete shown on embassy site. However embassy page seems to indicate that her birth certificate needs to be certified by MRE? How long does this take and how do we get this? Also to request her police clearance through the site of the police how long? As she does not live in Caracas we are considering contracting an agency that will do this for us but at a cost of around 2400 Bs. Any recommendations? Also am I missing something they will ask for? Thanks for the help

Though you will likely get some comments. For a more focused response, consider reposting your inquiry at the Latin and South America regional forum .

Good luck.
