you are being asked to have your wife sign the DS 230 and DS 3032 so that you dnt have to worry about getting her signature when its time to use them.

You need to specify what visa category you applied for so that you are not advised based on assumptions.

YOu contacting your senator is way too early and wont yielf any satisfying result for now( you will only be told to wait for couple of months more.

Currently the service centers appear to be taking longer than 6months to process cases and you are still within that frame if by 8th month u dnt hear anything then really srat get ting worried.

again indicate your dates and visa category for more specific inputs from VJ members. stay strong.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

I was told today by an immigration attorney that filing a DS-230 on top of all this would not do any good. She advised me to contact my Senator. Its been over 6 months since filing the I-130 so I guess I will try that..........

Go look at your calendar again. Use the receipt date of the I-129F and count forward. You'll find it has been less than five months, not more than six.

I agree, once you submitted the I129F your petition got pulled out of line and put with the I129F. How long has it been since you submitted the I129F? That is now your processing time.

Good luck

You have the rest of your life together! Whats a year??

Its totally worth the wait to see your wife with her passport, visa, and smile. I waited two years, lots of pain and money, and tomorrow we are going to open his bank account and his cell phone will be in his own name! Priceless!

I sent the letter to my senator yesterday. Today I called and they said approx. 40 more days to have a NOA2. I am calling the Embassy tomorrow and see how much time it would take to get an appointment for a travel visa.....................Things are looking up.

Its been 5 mos. since filing the 129F.

No, it has not. Look at the calendar again and count on your fingers. It has been less than five months.

Don't do what you thought out loud to do. This is a waiting game. For example I filed on April 20ish 2011, my wife just had her interview 6hrs ago.

From my timeline: Your interview took 293 days from your I-130 NOA1 date

A couple words I have rec'd which I would repeat when getting impatient. Never hurry, never worry. & Eat your ice cream slow.

I can help him as much as i can but i need to find him and make sure he is ok. If theres anyway you can find him or anything since you are there. I dont know what else to do and i have tried everything. His name is Walter Rivera and he is 20 years old.... Thank you for your time
