@HappyOne: Ich habe die GC immer dabei, ich glaube man sollte sie als ID mit sich rumtragen...Soviel ich weiss kannst du loslegen mit Flug buchen, denk nur dran das du den Flug in dem Namen buchst der in deinem Passport steht, don't forget!!

@ Diana: Hoffentlich geht alles ganz schnell! Ich hab net ganz verstanden, wann die Gebuehren erhoeht werden sollen, aber ich dachte (hoffe) doch erst ab 2008. Aber ich denke, man kann's eh net aendern - ich hoffe aber, Ihr habt Glueck! :)

@ Anh: Ich schleppe die GC immer als ID mit mir rum. Ich glaube das soll man auch. Wie Nina sagt, Flugticket immer im passport name buchen und dann das marriage certificate mit Dir rumschleppen (weil bei immigration wollen sie passport und GC sehen, also certificate fuer name change mitnehmen!). :) Alles halb so wild!

Hallo ihr lieben,

jetzt will ich mich doch auch endlich mal wieder melden. Also erstmal alles gute an alle frischvermaehlten und neuen GC besitzern. Schoen, dass es so langsam bei allen vorangeht.

@Diana hey mensch das is doch supi, dass euer file endlich nach Frankfurt geschickt wurde. Ich drueck dir die daumen, dass du zu deinem geburtstag bei deinem schatzi bist.

@Happyone wie nina und wer anders schon gesagt hat....kannst nu flug buchen :)

Hmm was gibts sonst neues........wir haben endlich keinen regen mehr...nach 7 tagen dauerregen!!!!!! Heute isses richtig schoen sonnig und um die 65F. :) Da hebt sich die laune doch gleich :)

@Nina ich wuensch dir superviel spass mit deinen eltern!

12/26/09 - went to Boston for Biometrics Appointment - THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

01/13/09 - Biometrics Appointment in Boston

01/13/09 - several phonecalls to uscis to find out where my extension letter is - will send out extension letter which will take up to 3 weeks

01/21/09 - phonecall to uscis about the extension letter. They are still working on the service request! told me to go to an infopass

appointment

01/22/09 - went to SS office to get a new SS-card. They won't issue a new one because me GC expires in 2 weeks.

01/22/09 - talked to the Office of my congressman. They will look into the issue and call me back - hopefully!!!!

01/26/09 - talked to the Office of the congressman. She read an email to me from USCIS stating that they sent out the letter on Friday!

They said I should have it in 7 days! So now we wait.....again!

01/29/09 - extension letter received!

05/15/09 - Removal of conditions approved :) ..waiting for actual card now :)

06/01/09 - Card in the mail!

hey.. damion is endlich da!! er ist am donnerstag um 22:30 geboren.. er war 52cm lang, 3600gr und KU war 37cm.. alles ging ziehmlich schnell.. wir (er und ich) haben ein paar probleme gehabt und damion war die letzten 2 tage in der intensivstation aber es geht ihm jetzt viel viel besser und wir wurden vor 3 std entlassen.. ich hab grad keine zeit aber ich versuch später alles zu schreiben und die ganzen fotos und videos hochzuladen..
