AOS application, from K1, for my wife was transferred to CSC back in September. Still no update to the case since Sept 22nd, 2011.

Any knowledge of lead time is appreciated.

Hi there

From looking at the USCIS website, it looks like the timeframe for AOS is around 4 months (although they don't have a separate section for I-485s via marriage). I would also say that CSC seems to have slowed down considerably over the past few months for AOS (and other visas, for that matter). Applicants who have interviews, currently, seem to be being processed a lot faster than those transferred to CSC for 'faster processing'. As you're outside the 4 months, it might be an idea to contact USCIS and request to speak to a Tier 2 to find out what's happening with your case.
