So just as a catch up We are waiting our 3rd 10 year green card. How incompetant can they be. First one was missing a finger print , the second had his name mispelled.

I filed February 10th and got my NOA February 17th. I wonder when I am gonna hear from them.

did you call and ask about your file? I mean there are some february filers who got their green card already, I'm talking about late february filers. Call and see what's going on.

VSC has been even slower recently approving Feb. filers, what's going on anyone knows?

Unfortunately it is not the norm to see the RFE on the website. It could easily come in the mail without any kind of notifications. Also, as you filed on your own, are you aware that there is a chance for you to be called for an interview?

I'm aware that I could be called in, and if that's the case and I'm away then I'll either have to request that it be rescheduled or withdraw my application. Unfortunately, that's the reality of my situation at the moment. I'm afraid that the RFE may have been lost in the mail and I'm just not sure what to do or when exactly I should trigger any kind of an inquiry.

For all Vermont Center February Filers...

I didn't include my timeline before but here are some of the facts:

NOA 2/21

Letter informing decision(approved) dated : 11/01

Text message and email stating that they ordered production of the card: 11/13

I had not received any electronic updates prior to this text and email received today, the case had not been updated on the uscis website either, though I knew removal of restrictions on GC had been approved on 11/01.

I think that because of the holidays, and all of the turkey coming and eberything, they are slowing a bit down you know. You can't blame them they have families too, but I blame them for the nerve recking journey that we have to go through. At least you are february filers are almost done, I am a september filer and I have a loooooooooong way to go. :whistle:

I got a new text/email yesterday from the USCIS website

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on November 13, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

If you haven't heard anything yet, I would give them a call. Mostly just to "nudge" your case for a touch. I was surprised to see that we had gotten a RFE but then oh well. Someone had mentioned the 3 pillars that they are looking for and I am thinking because I didn't outline it in the listing of the cover letter is why we got it. Even though I don't have my hubby on my mortgage, I thought I presented enough evidence with showing all of our forms state the same address for the both of us. I mean, driver's license, bank accounts, auto insurance, life and health ins etc....

This time I wrote out a letter specifying why he wasn't on the mortgage, and again added more bills with both of our names and addresses on there. Hopefully this will fullfill what they are wanting. If not, then I don't know what else to submit.

I called, but they said wait at least another month they are still trying to get all the January filers done, and they have spot done February filers.

Hi guys, I just received a case updating email from USCIS saying my card has been ordered on Nov. 15.

I have a question though, right now I'm still in China and will come back on Nov. 23. That means I won't get my GC until then. I'm planning to enter the states using my NOA1 letter( the extending letter). Will that work?

Basically it talks about taxes, finances and cohabitation.

Which I thought for sure including copies of both driver's license and different bills at the same mailing address sufficed. I guess I thought wrong, so I wrote out a letter stating why he wasn't on the mortgage of the house.

I would think that it would be different for you since you are filing alone though.

BTW I received the confirmation that the response to our RFE was signed on 11/19/12.
