I lost my work ID on my way to work this morning, but someone found it and returned it to the security guard. I retrieved it within an hour. It was a great day after all....

BUTTTTTTTT....

I just log into USCIS.gov, typed in the case number and vola! The page looks different, and sure it is! It says...

On October 24, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Good luck and best wishes for the those still waiting, it is coming!

It has been a long journey, and all of you, and this website, has been a great asset and assistance for us. When our baby arrive in the next few months, she will be eligiable to apply for citizenship, the great days have yet to come.
