Apparently VSC is moving slowly but surely.. Our January friends are getting approvals, 12 out of 40. As of Oct 11, were only 8 approved... so, February soon will be your day ???

Don't get depressed by that date, it's not true, look up on that website and you will se that it was since august 2012. So I'm sure it's not true. Anyways, They approving January filers now, you are close. Besides, I looked on how much VSC has application compared to CSC, they had 3 times as much as CSC. can you believe that? that's why they are moving kind of slow, 3 times applications as CSC.

The long wait if for me, I filed last september 2012 lol.

hi to every one

today we had our interview with my wife we took all proof but the officer ask me for more doc to send him later

after that he ask us to interview Separated , he start with me as a regular questions and after that he ask me to go out and start with my wife

after a few questions he ask her to show him how she's save my phone number on her cell phone ,and after that he asked her to see the messages between us

she's told him do you have the right to see my phone and he said yes i do

and his took the phone and start look up for everything and he ask her why you spent yesterday at your sister home , why ,why , why ?

and finally he told her i will take a copy for your cell phone and after 30 min he's back the phone again to her and said i don't have a decision

i'm just ask questions and collecting the paper and we will contact you again by mail if we need something else

actually i don't know if he has the right to check up our privacy phone or no

because i never seen something like that before

It's okay..for the most part I try not to think about it and every day life keeps me busy which helps..it's just now, when it's so close, I am checking more frequently lol

It didn't even cross my mind that they handle a higher volume of files, It's pretty understandable why they are behind everyone else then...and like DoneWaiting mentioned, it is moving slowly but surely.

I can't imagine how you feel...that's a long time waiting.

Did they give a reason why they asked for an interview with you and your wife? I would think that it is their right to check phone records if they suspect something. What kind of papers did they ask you to bring in? I only ask this in case it should happen to someone else, considering we are waiting for my husband's 10 year gc too.

Did you get a RFE when you filed?

Hello, Vermont filer here who just got approved for the 10-year green card today! I had signed up for text message notification, and got a text around 8:15 p.m. tonight telling me that my case had been "updated". I logged into the USCIS website, and card production has been ordered!

Looks like the rest of you won't have all that much longer to wait!

Just received RFE today

I think most likely it is because me and my wife don't have any joint bank account/credit card. We made a very bad investment in a house right after we got married in 2009. We co-invested that property with a friend of her. But my name was never on the title (only my wife's name). Then things got really bad and her friend decided not to make his share of the payment, which eventually led to the foreclosure. We never had a chance to setup a joint back account since we were advised not to because the expected foreclosure will ruining my credit as well.

Can anyone give me some suggestion in terms of what process we are looking at to resolve this RFE?

I checked the page yesterday and got "we ordered production of your new card"! Yay!

Quick update since my last post:

- RFE needed to be mailed before 10/15. We mailed it using overnight and arrived on 10/12.

- Did a lot of digging into all the stuff we have. Got a list of following items to send

All bank statements before account was closed
Costco membership statement
Coupons with our names
Life insurance with each other has beneficiaries (can't believe we didn't send this at the beginning)
All patient registration forms from our doctor's office with each other as emergency contacts
More affidavits from our co-workers

- Checked the page and see "On October 17, 2012, we ordered production of your new card" (for some reason, no SMS/email notification even though I set it up)
