ive got the same situation man, just relax. We have moved twice during our marriage, from Miami to New York and now we are living in Chicago, probably they do background, we didnt file AR-11 because its gay

As a proof we sent them our car titles that cost over 70k together and a lot of other things, but no news i even didnt get NOA, just calm down, smoke something and wait. Someone from january topic, guy still didnt get anything and he is from Egypt too, so may be they give faster green cards for people from wealthy countries like Great Britain, Canada etc, not for shady Egypt Russia etc lol

Man, that's hilarious! That being said there's some wisdom to your words, they tend to spend that extra time to "dig" a little deeper for people from "interesting" countries.

Got approval letter yesterday. Approval date 08/07/2012. Received text and email today that card was mailed out today.

Hoping someone can help me with the online USCIS site. I've tried to enter my "Receipt" number (that starts with 3 letters) and is a total of 13 characters long into my profile for tracking but it keeps telling me that it's not a valid number.

Has anyone else run into this situation?

I would love to be able to keep track of my case file but it won't even acknowledge that I have one!

Seems like the CSC is ahead of the game. VSC will catch up eventually, I'm sure! It's saying 8.5 months which puts us somewhere in November/December for any news.

The EAC number doesn't work... to be honest I'm a little concerned about this. I had tried to add my case in March and thought possibly that it was just late being logged into the system. Now, 6 months later this is raising a red flag for me.

Should I contact them or just wait it out? I suppose that I could wait and once the VSC filers start getting theirs back address it if I still don't have any communication.

We have the same issue, we've used the receipt number starting with EAC from the Biometric without any successful, call USCIS and the supervisor told us something like "security issue" in some case, so we can't check status on-line either. As I said before, our mail carriers are no good, they deliver mails to the wrong mailbox every single day. I hope you have a reliable mail carrier then you don't have to worry!!!

I am still waiting too.But they got mine on March 13th as I had problem with the way I sent it thru post office.

Like I couldn't know that time that there will be a post office problem and didn't move to a March fillers bcs of that
