Apparently I cannot edit my post... odd.

There's a second part to this update:

I received the above email while I was waiting in line at the Alberta, Canada/Montana Border (coming back into the US). This made things interesting, as USCIS had updated my expiry date before I hit the booth to talk to the agent. The border agent became very confused when I handed her the extension letter, as she could not figure out why I would have a 1-year extension for a green card that expires in 2022. After going back and forth for a minute, she finally realized that I had an expired card in hand, and that it had literally been approved a few minutes ago.

Talk about timing... :)

Congratssss talk about an interesting way for things to unfold with this part of your process lol!

As today USCIS Processing Time Information for our Vermont Service Center for I-751 it says August 22 2011 That means last month we move a WHOLE 21 days. way to go USCIS

I received an email today letting me know the card has been mailed. It usually doesn't take long to get things from CA. Our trip is in 8 weeks so there are no worries that we will have it before we go now.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

BABY GIRL BORN JULY 2011!!!

Now to start saving money again to file for his naturalization this coming March 2013.............

Can I ask?

Does everybody get e-mail first,or did I had to sign up for some special service to get it.

I am overseas and can't use my American phone,but I am checking my e-mails.I was just wonder if I should set up something else to get this notification thru e-mail.
