This is why I suggest calling multiple times if you have a question just because the answers seem to always vary.

And yes, it usually takes a few days. You should get a response by the end of the week.

AOS Invoice Received!!!!!!!

Congrats on finally getting that invoice.

How long would it take to trigger the IV bill after DS-3032 in the case of EP? I sent my OPTIN email with DS-3032 last Tuesday. So far no IV bill invoiced yet from payment portal. The EP acceptance email from NVC indicated the DS-3032 received. Is there a separate DS-3032 acceptance email?

There is no separate DS-3032 acceptance email.

Congrats on finally getting that invoice.

There is no separate DS-3032 acceptance email.

Thanks. :) Took long enough to sort out, no? :)

Notification of DS-3032 acceptance would be in the form of IV invoice generation, yes?

Also, are you aware of a China case whereby the DS-3032 was sent in separately from EP OPTIN?

We got an "acceptance of agent" email, but we filed the DS-261 electronic form to identify our agent. I would guess that you also get an acceptance of agent email for the DS-3032...no?

This will be the order of finding out your case number: operator, then AVR (few days behind), then correspondence.

If you give your email addresses straight after finding out your case number, you will NOT receive anything by snail mail. If you choose not to give over email addresses, expect this process to take MANY MONTHS as the snail mail process is very, very slow.

It always varies by case. Sometimes it's the next day, others it's a few days later. If yours got accepted yesterday, then I expect your IV bill to be invoiced by the end of the week. Just keep checking the payment portal as often as you want.

It seems that NVC is moving pretty quick and I also know that many of us would like them to work like lightening bolts and get everything done ASAP because it is our desire to be with our love ones as soon as possible, right? But reality is, you have to play the "wait game" for many processes that we still have ahead of us before anything else can happen. No matter how ready you think you are for the next step, things can only be so fast.

So this all leads me to the following: I read somewhere in some guide/post that you should start calling NVC "Everyday" after about 6 days of my NOA2. I called a couple of hours ago and I was told that they received my case yesterday, that it was there, but that I would take 7 to 10 business days to be entered into the system. Which I understand (normal processing time, I'm guessing).

The question I have is:

Is there a point in "calling NVC Everyday" like I have read, knowing that it would take them a couple of days to enter my case in their system? ... or

Should I instead wait let say a week and then call again to see if there a change in status, and perhaps a NVC Case # available by then?

You can do whatever you want. I suggest calling everyday so you know the same day that your case number has been scheduled. Then you can give over email addresses and email the DS-3032.

Waiting a week won't hurt you. As long as you're prepared that you might lose a few days if your case number is assigned tonight while you wait a week not doing anything.
