Hum.... do you know how the system inform them that the transaction is completed? do they have to do some check or the system will inform them about the completion so that they can start the reviewing

Did you study up on (using the Google ) - ACH?

Automated Clearing House.

Please have a look, when yer able.

People the system shows paid, my wife call them bank and she was told that the money was not taken from the account, is that normal?

Yup. ACH is convoluted, twisted. Good Luck !

NVC says our has been requested for final review. What does this mean and how long on the average would we be scheduled for an interview in Nigeria.

Final Review is cool!

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=330866&view=findpost&p=4916270

NVC wrote me guys they told me our doucment has been reviewed ( IV package). The subject of the mail is " checklist ( cover letter). What does this mean? In the email they told me to sumit required document.

- financial evidence ( AOS)

- IV fee bill

For the IV bill we re submitted it thursday, february 23rd. Friday, feb 24th the portal showed paid but the bank told us no money was withdrawn from the account. Why u guys think they still asking for the fee. We are not responsible if their system haven t not yet taken the money from the account. According to you guys, don't u think if we were supposed to receive a RFE regarding the IV package they would send it as well in the email? Should we we happy for no RFE for IV package?

f you had been reading stuff here,

you would get some sense of a 'false checklist letter response' from NVC.

Oh Well.

Hi all,

I was searching for DS 230 instructions pdf, like they have with most other forms. Curiously I couldn't find it on the official websites. While there is a lot of info by so many wonderful folks here, I was hoping to have an 'official' reference handy.

Is there not such a document? If not how do folks have a definitive guide to what's necessary and what's not?

Thanks!

Unsure about the pdf instructions file - but this was always useful:

Hopefully so. Though I doubt they work on the weekends.. haha :D

That said, the DS-3032 triggers the IV process yes? I wonder if they kept the one I sent with my first OPTIN email and if therefore there is any chance they would process it? Oh well, I guess we'll find out soon. :)

that official 'gzo number assigned' email that you got, the 2nd one, recently?

supposedly (yak) that's the trigger that:

1. the ds-3032 was detached from the EP optin email and

2. the ds-3032 was added to the casefile then

3. the IV fee bill is invoiced.

in prior months - those 3 things happened within 24 to 48 hours, on EP casefiles headed to GUZ IV.

This prior week? on your casefile, specifically? unsure.

Keep yer eyes peeled wide open at the NVC payment portal, noticing WHEN the IV fee bill can be paid. Once you see it? Is good indication that the DS-3032 was added to the casefile, the day prior.

NVC received our case on Feb 24 2012. How long does it take before they assign a case number?

You should probably be getting your case number this coming week. If you read this thread in its entirety then you'd know that case numbers are assigned about 1-3 weeks from NOA2.

Can I send the (DS-3032) via email? And can I send it now even if I dont have the NVC case number yet? I will provide them my USCIS case #.

Question #2

Can I assign my father as the agent to receive the documents? Or does it have to be me (petitoner) I am deployed overseas now, so there is no way that I can be the agent.

NO. Do NOT send the DS-3032 yet! (Although looking at your signature, you did headbonk.gif) You HAVE to have a case number before emailing them! Just wait until you have that and THEN email the DS-3032.

And yes, you should be able to assign your father as the agent. But like another member said, you can still assign yourself as agent, despite being overseas. Once getting your case number, if you give both email addresses over (petitioner and beneficiary's), then all correspondence is sent by email from NVC. If you do it this way, you won't receive anything by snail mail.

Sounds logical. Now that I've gotten the "You're doomed! (Nah, just kidding)" message out of the payment portal I'd expect to have invoice for at least AOS in hand on or about Monday.

Hopefully they'll both show up and I can move forward quickly. :)

What do you mean you sent in the supporting documents? Do you mean the IV package?

The following is what you need to send in for EP and online forms:

-DS-261

-AOS package

-DS-260

-IV package (minus the DS-230 as that's the DS-260)

---Well, the AOS package basically is the IV package plus some financial information (tax records, etc.) so I'm wondering If I'd have to send basically the same email minus the tax stuff... that contains you know, birth certificates, pics, marriage certificate, etc... I'm not sure.

If love is so simple / Why is this so complex?

Unless someone says otherwise, logic dictates that sending too much is better than risking not enough. They can always ignore that which they do not want. :)
