Even though we previously prepared the DS3032 form (downloaded & signed by beneficiary before), I plan to be cautious to have my wife (beneficiary) signed again with the DS3032 included from NVC since it has the case number & barcode on top. And send OPTIN email for EP with it tomorrow.

Use the DS-3032 that your wife signed before. You don't need the form the NVC sent you with the case number and barcode on top of it. When I sent the OPTIN, the DS-3032 that my wife signed and I attached to the email was one she signed prior to receiving the case number. I had no issues doing it this way.

On the subject of copies and what not....

When the wife goes in for the interview she'll be carrying:

A full duplicate of The Package that went to USCIS and of all documents, including supporting bits, that went to NVC

More pictures.

Blank and semi-blank copies of all forms (in case they suddenly decide they don't like how one was filled out/signed/countersigned/moon phase it was filled out under)

Any additional evidence that we may scrape together between now and then

for forms - for an EP case - need:

1. originals with original signatures - her DS-230 - your I-864

2. her original white book notarial translation thingies

3. YOUR income documents

it's a PITA on an EP case - but basically - everything sent out via email? carry it all on both days (document intake day and interview day)

I am a little confused I guess. My husband has sent an email (2 of them) for the DS-3032 and only received an auto reply, no approval. BUT today I receive by email from NVC a 6 page doc (pdf) that has our info and an Invoice for $88.00 and yet another ds-3032.

Should my husband RE-email the DS-3032 again? And is this bill ready for me to pay? Should I pay it when we are not ready yet with the doc's?

You've received the DS-3032 'kit' via email. Yay. The switch is on at NVC. I say it's time to resend the DS-3032.

Also, that bill is ready to be paid. You can pay that bill anytime from NOW till a year later.

huh... NVC just told me that when I called this morning someone supposedly put in a request to have the AOS invoice and DS-3032 generated. They also said it wouldn't go out the same day and that it may go out by the end of the week or even next week (which is what they told me this morning). I guess we'll see what tomorrow and the next day bring.

See? when you become repetitive with the same question (Please to send me the AOS fee bill via email) then eventually something gets put in a queue. Queues abound at NVC. Mostly, queues SUCK, but there ya go.

I received the AOS bill and DS3032 today, just as Ryan predicted. :-) I am able to login to the payment center online. The AOS bill asks about whether the current address of the beneficiary is correct or not. My wife did move to a new address than the one when filed I-130. Because I am going with EP, I suppose I don't have to send NVC the new address as long as the new address is used in the IV DS-230 package later. Would that be an problem? Thanks!

the new address will be captured with GUZ IV Packet 3 Supplemental Form.

Can tell me, is that pdf'd DS-3032 that you got in yer email - is it form fillable, or not? Prior versions of this, sent out, were not form fillable and had an old expiration date on it. It's perfectly fine to use the newer DS-3032 in the download link on the EP wiki page, to OPT IN again. IMO - if what you received is not form fillable, it's the old version still, and a piece o #######. It's only benefit is the barcode, and for an EP casefile - this isn't required on the DS-3032 form.

This is not true, don't forget what they call the "photocopy requirement": for every original civil document you send, you should also send its photocopy. It's in the guides dude!

What will happen people I only sent orginal of my civil document to NVC will it result to a RFE or will they just return the package to me, so that I can make the copies?p

You were going to get a new one in your country, right? They might still give you the originals back, but they'll need copies for that.

No i didn t plan to get a new one, but since at the interview they will not give me back my original brith certificate i do not know how i am gonna get a new one in my country.

I just got off the phone with NVC they told me they received my IV package but it has not been reviewed yet. They ask me to call back next week... #######

All you have to do is bring a copy of your birth certificate to the interview, give it to them, and they'll give your original back.

Did you get a supervisor on any of the daily calls? I think it's time to switch over, ask for a supervisor.

I'll give that a try during today's daily call. NVC seems about as good as USCIS at not admitting there is a problem, let alone wanting to do anything about it.
