So I did receive a response back from NVC on that DS-3032 I sent out prematurely. (My AOS Invoice/DS-3032 are yet to be generated)

It starts with this:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We are unable to add third party contact information to the case record

at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change in the

petitioner's or principal applicant's address.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the

NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents

will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and

documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the

immigration process.

Is this the standard email folks get when they email in their DS-3032 before it has been generated?

Thanks!

That means they are not ready to accept your DS-3032. Not to worry, just resend it and by the time they get around to your e-mail again, they should be ready to accept it!

They'll most likely send a false checklist asking for the AOS package. Nothing to worry about though. There are people that send the packages months apart.

If you get an email requesting the AOS package, then it's usually a good sign that it was accepted. But don't expect an email that will say "your IV package was accepted". If you want to know, then CALL. This is the best and fastest way of knowing how your case is doing. Since your package just arrived today, then I'd suggest to start calling tomorrow, and every day after that. You want to be asking: "Has my package been reviewed yet?"

I can't answer that until you send out the AOS package. If you send out the AOS package this week and get no checklists, then it is possible for a CC this month.

I just received the DS-3032 and AOS Invoice from NVC via email and I did the following:

1) Paid the AOS fee of $88.

2) Resent the DS-3032 email.

Although my payment is processing, I do see that I can print out a bar-coded cover document for my I-864.

My question is, should I go ahead and send the I-864 package with the bar-coded cover document, or should I wait for my AOS fee to be processed first?

Thanks!

I am a little confused I guess. My husband has sent an email (2 of them) for the DS-3032 and only received an auto reply, no approval. BUT today I receive by email from NVC a 6 page doc (pdf) that has our info and an Invoice for $88.00 and yet another ds-3032.

Should my husband RE-email the DS-3032 again? And is this bill ready for me to pay? Should I pay it when we are not ready yet with the doc's?

Yeah, for some reason, over the last few months, the bar-coded cover sheet has become available after paying the fee. Despite this, do NOT send the AOS package. If you send it, and the payment doesn't clear or something else goes wrong, you can waste a lot of time. I'd suggest just waiting the day or two for the payment to appear as PAID in the payment portal. In the meantime, print the bar-coded cover sheet, attach it to the package as the first page, go over the AOS package at least 10 times, make sure everything is included, put it inside an envelope, put the address on it, add postage.

I'd suggest holding out on re-sending the DS-3032 until a response to your initial email has been made. If it gets rejected (for being sent too early), then that's the time to re-send the DS-3032 email.

And yes, if you've received an invoice, then you should be able to log in and pay the AOS fee. Make sure it gets paid while using IE to reduce the amount of problems you might encounter.

And it doesn't matter if you have the packages ready or not. Paying bills and such takes a few days and most people here don't want to waste any time.
