I do not think it would cause a problem or could result to a visa denial. I do not think we the only people who did so. I am sure millions of cases before us were similar and didn t result to a denial. I have never seen that on VJ, well for the time i have been on VJ

In your case probably not because your wife is expecting -that's a plus for you. Unfortunately for others we need to prove with other evidence that it is a legit marriage. Filing taxes MFJ is one way.

No, it's printed on her checks. Just google "routing number" and look at the image results and it'll show you which number is her account number and which is the bank's routing number.

FYI,

I was printing DS-230 yesterday www*state.gov/documents/organization/81807.pdf**, trying to get my wife's file ready, and I noticed the expiration date on the top left corner of this form says 02/29/2012. Based on NVC processing time and my approval time, I don't think I would beat that date unless they issue a statement that says previous versions are accepted.

However DS-3230 www*state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf shows 01/31/2013

I'm not sure if that would be an issue as far as form expiration but that would slow down the process if you have to email the form, have your spouse sign it and mail it back!!!!!

God damn it, I thought I passed the hard part of this!!!!??? :bonk:

Not by itself, no. It could cause the VO to look more closely at your case than they otherwise might have. Or it could have no impact at all. There's really no way to say. As I said earlier, just be prepared for the questions if they come and have a good explanation.

Try to look what other member say about it and you will decide what to do. do not panick. I just pust a question to the forum about it. There, everybody will be able to see it and give their opinions

I'm calling the IRS now to see if it really is necessary or if the W-7 by itself will do the job. Worse case, the wife will have to send me another over night package. At least it isn't terribly expensive from China! :lol:

I may just send 2008, 2009, 2010 tax transcript and W2 of 2011 since i probably wont' get 2011 transcript in time.

Good to know. Though in general previous versions (to a point) are always acceptable so it shouldn't be too big a deal for you. :)

Today, I sent out the AOS and IV packages they will not get to the NVC until Tuesday, forgot that Monday is a Holiday. I can also take a break...all I have to do is wait...

How long should I wait before start calling NVC if they have transferred my case to the Embassy?

Happy for you July. My wife mailed only IV package to NVC today. We are waiting for our joint sponsor document to send AOS package next week

How long should I wait before start calling NVC if they have transferred my case to the Embassy?

Well some stuff is gonna happen before that.

First, they'll review your packages, and if everything is ok accept them.

Then, you'll have a case complete, and be in queue for interview scheduling

Some time after that (it can take a while), your interview will be scheduled and you'll receive an interview letter by email

Only then, they'll transfer your case to the embassy.

You can start calling by Wednesday to know if the packages are under review yet!

CR1 Visa

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

me too. How can we correct this?

2/08/2012------- Case number received, IIN, both petitionner and benificiary email given

2/08/2012------- DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) emailed to NVC

2/10/2012------- AOS fee bill paid ( status: in progress)

2/13/2012--------DS 3032 accepted

2/14/2012-------- AOS fee bill shows " PAID" and IV fee bill invoiced
