I am sorry Darnell most of the time it is difficult for me to read when you wrote that is why sometimes i do not read carefully when you write something

You're going to have to speak with a supervisor, but yes, an expedite request can be issued over the phone. And yes, documents may still be needed for the expedite.

I've read that people are sending photos, affidavits, and some other proof of bona fides with the IV packet to NVC. Does this help, or should I just wait until we go to the interview?

This is optional, but with some consulates, it's almost mandatory. Like GUZ in China.

You did send in a bunch of evidence with your I-130, yes? Like every single thing you could lay your hands on.

This is optional, but with some consulates, it's almost mandatory. Like GUZ in China.

Though some of us "sent them up the bomb" at I-130 time...

You'll see me trademark the HuMan often here at VJ, when I write about the need for a HuMan.

Many folk think it's enough to send a postal letter, fax or email - instead of getting a Human, and the Right Human, within USCIS, NVC and DoS.

I put the trademark symbol in there to bring more attention to the word. That is all. My hope is that someone reading will understand that getting a Human is important, with the extra symbol tagged on for emphasis.

No, I didn't send a thing with I-130 other than the marriage certificate. But I will now, at least a few photos and Affidavits (3) so they'll see our happy faces and how great we look with each other.

I was not paying attention to the post you answered regarding the expedite because i see here usually people has problem understanding when you write something including myself. At times, i am struggling to understand what you are trying to explain while when other members post something i understand it clearly. I do not need to print or email anything

For perspective, my I-130 package was 220+ pages and weighed like 4 pounds or so. I'm guessing on the weight though, it was a long time ago.

Wow, I thought everyone had to send more evidence than that with their I-130 just to get out of USCIS...

USCitizen Spouse, the Petitioner, must call NVC, use telephone, inquire for expedite with human at NVC.

Case status: I called NVC and asked for the appointment date, still no sign of us getting it anytime this month. I think we'll know sometime early March. [sigh], another 3 weeks will pass without any value added to the case, this is very discouraging, but at least my case is complete.
