Huh... NVC just told me something new on "today's" call... The lady said she'd send it over to a supervisor to get my DS-3032 and AOS invoices generated.

Trips:

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

January2012 - Trip Eight... Chinese New Years and Spring Festival! More Lucky Money! :D

April2012 - Trip Nine... Interview?

Paper work for CR1:

28 July 2011 - 20January 2012 - Day 175... USCIS at CSC finally processed our paper work.

30January2012 - NVC 'received' the paperwork

6February2012 - NVC GUZ case number assigned - Attempted to OPTIN to EP.

7February2012 - NVC GZO (EP) case number assigned

8February2012 - 27February Massive delay caused by sending the EP OPTIN email too soon :(

28February2012 - AOS Fee Paid

29February2012 - AOS Fee shows paid, AOS Package sent in

5March2012 - IV Fee shows paid (paid on 3March), IV (DS-230) Package sent in

6March2012 - AOS Rejected due to minor error, corrected version emailed in

8March2012 - Email received indicating AOS correction and DS-230 review in process

9March2012 - Case Complete Email - END NVC PROCESS

No, it's printed on her checks. Just google "routing number" and look at the image results and it'll show you which number is her account number and which is the bank's routing number.

It depends on whether she was just trying to get me off the phone as quick as possible. Didn't sound the friendliest person ever. At least it is different from "We're trying to convert you to EP sir, please wait *PERIODMEASUREDINYEARS* and call back again!" :lol:

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

04/11/2012---- Visa issued and Passport stamped received ( US Consulate Casablanca, Morocco)

......2 years - 90 days later....

02/25/2014--- ROC packer received.

The NVC lasy I just called today said that I would receive a notification/email when NVC receives my case from USCIS. Would that be true? can someone confirm please?

No it's not true. The first thing I received from NVC was the DS-3032 email, a few days after they assigned a case number, and weeks after they received the case.

On another subject, I called DOS again today and my suspicions are confirmed: these people are WEIRD.

After I repeated my case number 4 times and said I wanted to know if the embassy had received my case, the operator asked "oh you want to know if they got your packet 3?" Eerh... no, this is a CR1 case, I just wanna know if they received my case which was sent by NVC a week ago. I heard her shuffle and move around for a bit, and then she just said "Yes". I'm not convinced she actually found the information at all :lol:

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

No, NVC won't email you when they receive your case from USCIS. It usually takes a few days/weeks to input your case once they receive it. They will send correspondence to you a few days after they assign a case number. But if you're not on top of things and get the case number within a few days and then give over both email addresses, then there's a chance that that correspondence will be sent out by snail mail. Which is highly undesirable. That's why I recommend to everyone to be calling NVC every single day (after one week has passed from the NOA2 date) so you know exactly when your case number is assigned.

All VJs are presumed pre-qualified immigration Gurus. Waiting 6-7 months fro NOA while reading VJ guides everyday would make an expert.

True, but in the eyes of the government, we're not qualified >_< Even though reading for hours every day when I was at CSC sure made me feel confident and "qualified" about this immigration process.

You're going to have to speak with a supervisor, but yes, an expedite request can be issued over the phone. And yes, documents may still be needed for the expedite.

It is not me that is going to call but my wife. She is gonna call in a few. Will she need to ask to speak to a supervisor or they will just transfer her to a supervision when she give the reason of her call ( Expedite)
