Oh, I definitely INSIST!! Call up an operator at NVC to confirm. And perhaps the AVR has updated as well to reflect it (although it's slow, so maybe not).

Tell your husband hi from me laughing.gif

Because my husband doesn't think I am strange enough already?

Really nice to have go this far without any RFEs but hope we can get an address in the US before the interview. Oh yay I am so excited now.:dance:

And yes, not getting any RFEs at USCIS or NVC is really nice. Join the club yes.gif And good luck about the address. You probably have about two months until your interview. Is that enough time?

I was thinking that it was likely to be an April interview which would fit in with our plans to go to the US in the middle of March.

My AOS bill is on status paid and I received the IV bill today. I just paid it and I wonder if I can send the AOS files and the IV package in same time (of course when the IV is shown as paid).

I wonder also if we could ask a special schedule of date for the interview? I would like to do it in may. If yes, when we should ask for that kind of request?

Thank you

March is before April :P Do you mean May?

But yes, it's quite possible to have an interview in April. I'd say your chances are very high.

You really should have asked for an expedite as soon as you got your case number. But you can request one at any time. And yes, email them. That's the fastest way. They'll then send the request to the embassy/consulate. Once they get their response, NVC will inform you of their decision.

My AOS bill is on status paid and I received the IV bill today. I just paid it and I wonder if I can send the AOS files and the IV package in same time (of course when the IV is shown as paid).

Yes, many people send in the AOS and IV at the same time. Just make sure both bills appear as PAID in the payment portal first. But you seem to know this already :)

And no, you can't request for a specific date. You can try, but you're more than likely going to get rejected. As for when to request it, I'd wait until you get your case complete but before your interview date is scheduled. If that gets rejected (99% chance it will), then you can always directly ask your embassy/consulate if they can change it to your specific date. But again, expect to be rejected. What country does the beneficiary belong to? Please fill in your information so it's easier for members to answer your question.

Ohhh, got ya. Yeah, unless there's a cancellation and you get their spot, you shouldn't have an interview in March.

Saylin, Thank you for your answer!

Last questions, I am now traveling abroad that's mean its my mother that willsend the package to NVC (AOS, DS230....) I have prepared all documents before leaving Europe but now i'm wondering if my mother could send the document which are signed and dated on January 20th (when I printed and signed documents)

Does the date matter for NVC ?

No, it's not available here. I sent them secured with the post office worker telling me, "yeah, I'll totally send them today..." None of my mail has been lost in 2 years of living here but I'll still be on edge until it gets there.

Oh, not cool for you that you're not able to track it. You don't have UPS or DHL in Paraguay?

Actually, I spent an arm and a kidney to send the I-130 package express and tracked from France, and then the tracking didn't work, I never got the confirmation it was received.

Luckily for the IV package it worked.

Just call NVC when you think it should be received. The operators could not tell me when they were received, but they could see the packages when they were under review.
