No, it's printed on her checks. Just google "routing number" and look at the image results and it'll show you which number is her account number and which is the bank's routing number.

My hubby is in Perth too! I already left to start work in the US. We are leaving because the cost of living is outrageous. You agree? Nearly 600K for a house, and we get paid half of what we would in the states... how does that compute?!!

Where did you get your medicals? Any insider tips?!

I think it's just mutual confusion...

I'm not sure I have seen anyone else say there is a difference between "case complete" and "final review" anyway. Why would they tell you your case is complete and THEN do a final review? They review the packages as they come, and case complete means everything is good and you're in line for an interview. At least that's how it seems to work for 99% of the people here.

Yeah I agree, cost of living here is ridiculous! Driven up by everyone on 6 figure salaries on the mines/offshore. What do you guys do for work? I'm in engineering and have heard that there is a lot of downward pressure on salaries in the US, I'm hoping I can get an ok job when I get there! (Looking at Houston)

:ot2: The only thing I will say about the medical is to shop around! It cost me over $515 in Perth city (Dr. Elizabeth Sinclair) for just the appointment, blood tests and x-ray. If he needs vaccines, that'd be more again. I think they charge a premium over here because there are not many docs that do them.

Figures, everything in Perth is expensive. I made my husband get his titres done (checks for immunity status to various diseases). And his doctor caught him up on all of his vaccines based on the titre results--so hopefully no unexpected charges at the medical.

I am a pharmacist, he is a lawyer. And we could barely save anything. I had enough and initiated this move to the US. Already, I'm earning twice what I ever did in Australia. Will miss the climate and friends & family, but we can definitely live a bit more comfortably here in the US.

I'm trying to determine now whether there is any reason to wait on sending the OPTIN email for electronic processing or not.

I've read it before and I'm reading it again now. From reading it, it appears there is no reason to wait to try and OPTIN. :)

I can not wait to get a case number at NVC, i want this step to be over and be at the interview. My wife called this morning, our package was received at NVC January 31st. Tomorrow will be 7 days since they have our paper and they told my wife they have not reviewed it yet ( no case number assigned ) :bonk:

Just got off the phone with NVC again. They were telling me I'd have to wait for them to generate and send me the DS-3032 (presumably by mail). As I understand things it isn't necessary to wait, is my understanding correct?
