I have not received NOA2 yet but USCIS is close to my date range so I am wondering how is NVC in regards to their timing with their process? About how long has it taken in February to get NVC case # and after it has been approved from USCIS? And how long after getting the case # does the payments appear on the website? Thanks!

As of late, it's been taking about 2-3 weeks to receive a case number from the date of NOA2. As for payments, it's a couple days to a week or more (depends on your actions as well) from case number being assigned.

I have 2 questions that I've been meaning to ask.

1. My husband's birthday is February 26. If he signed and dated the DS-230 before that but it gets to the NVC after that, will we get an RFE since question #5 asks for his age?

2. My husband originally told me that he worked in Argentina for 2 years, so that's what the G-325a shows. But as we were filling out the DS-230 it turns out he didn't work there for 2 years consecutively, it was for several periods of 3 months then for 11 months. So, good news is he doesn't need a PCC for Argentina, bad news is that the G-325a and DS-230 don't match. Will that be a problem?

Thanks!

If you've noticed other members (like myself) have a signature below each post we make of our own customized timeline. It helps a lot more than the timeline feature as there's more timeticks you can add, plus it's more convenient and easier to answer someone if there signature is right underneath their post.

If you want your own: go to the top right of this page, click on 'Settings' underneath your name/picture. Click on the 'Profile' tab and then the sub-tab 'Change Signature'. Then add what you wish (NOA1, NOA2, case number, etc) and hit the 'Save' button. That's all there is to it :)

I just did it thanks

finally sent off the AOS & DS230 via fedex in the same package--hopefully they can use what few brain cells they share amongst the department (that's a little harsh, isn't it) to ensure the AOS goes in one direction and the DS230 goes in another... I know, I'm being optimistic. Should be delivered on Valentine's Day... Awwwww <3

The AOS and IV are SEPARATE tracks. The AOS bill gets invoiced regardless. But the IV bill will NOT be invoiced until DS-3032 acceptance. So the time it takes from AOS and IV are all up to YOU.

God I want to finish with NVC. Expedite request will be mailed next week with IV package

This is a bone-head, approach, IMO.

Why not have the USCitizen Petitioner CALL IN, instead, and chase down SuperVisor Sue, get SSue's intake process documented, instead?

You wish to MAIL something in? Really? I question the timeliness of this, always.

There are others who have issues with using the telephone. I pray yer not one of them.

No, you have to send the DS-3032 (preferably by email if you want to save lots of time).

AOS track:

-pay AOS fee

-send AOS package when bill shows as PAID

IV track:

-send DS-3032 (by email if you want to save time)

-pay IV fee

-send IV package

Both are SEPARATE tracks. You can do either the AOS track at the same time as the IV or one over the other. It's all up to YOU.

Nope, no scanning at all. Please go back to the first post in this thread. There's a link to the email template for the DS-3032. Read it a couple of times before emailing the DS-3032.

I think you need to disconnect a few things.

expedites are NEVER granted over the phone,

they are INITIATED over the phone.

Must to follow the EXACT instructions of the HUMAN that one talks to.

supported documents are typically emailed in.

I think you have a twisted view of NVC ops. How to untwist yer view?
