How long does it take for NVC to acknowledge an emailed DS 3032?

Well, I was going to have a correction made on the certificate they gave me yesterday.

But I came out with a brand new and clean certificate

I really don't understand how these people work and if they're aware of the policies they're supposed to follow...

Anyway, I now have in hand a perfect pcc, which matches the DoS requirements (according to their website) to the letter! It was made onsite at the consulate (they kept telling for 5 months they weren't able to do that :blink:), everything is translated into English and French, and it mentions that an archive search was made - one of DoS requirements, which was actually not mentionned on the first, faulty one - and it was signed and stamped by the vice consul.

So.... instead of waiting for 2 months to have it done in Turkey again, I waited for 10 min to have it done at the consulate, and the fee was.... 3€

I don't know what happened to make them change their mind overnight, but hey, I don't even want to know. I have what I need and that's all that matters!

I am hoping to send DS-230 today! The following is what I will be sending, I wanna know if I am missing anything. I never received a checklist from NVC so I am following a guide I found on here, don't worry IV fee has been payed. And should I make photocopy of EVERY single document I am sending and also send it to them besides the originals? Thanksss!!

1. Barcoded IV document cover sheet

2. 2 Passport-sized photos of beneficiary (Do I need to write in back?)

3. Completed and signed form DS-230 (only part 1 signed by beneficiary)

4. Biopraphic data page of passport of beneficiary

5. Original/Certified BC of beneficiary

6. Original/Certified MC

7. Original PC of beneficiary

*****Neither of us is and ever has been in the military or have ever been married so those things are N/A to us.

For photocopies, you just need to send photocopies of the birth and marriage certificate. Unless you don't mind USCIS keeping your original/certified copies of these documents

For the passport pictures, it's suggested to write on both (in pencil or very lightly in pen): beneficiary's full name, beneficiary's date of birth, and NVC case number. I'd also suggest putting them in a small ziploc baggy and staple the bag to a piece of white paper. That way, your pictures are more safe than just sticking them in an envelope with the rest of your papers.

Other than that, your package looks good It's also suggested to include a cover letter listing what documents you're including, but this is completely optional. People there is a notice i have made. When you request an expedite, even though you got deny, this have you had someone look into your case if it was left out on the desk. After i request an expedite, i got a RFE 4 days later accompanied with a denial of the Expdite. 7 days later the case got approved ( nOA2 received )

Yeah I don't know why they kept it so long...

Now I think I found it on DHL website. Since it left on Feb 8, I made a search for shipments tagged for Feb 7, is that right? I found one going to Paris which was picked up on 02/08 in the afternoon.

That definitely sounds good. When you call NVC back up, specifically ask: "Is my case complete?" See what they say. And don't forget about the AVR, it'll update if the case is complete (albeit a few days after the fact).

You could have an idea by browsing to your country Portal and see those who had interview before you ( US embassy at Vietnam), how long it had taken them from Case completed to Interview
