Quick question please,

I have received the NOA2 from USCIS. In the notice letter it states "We have sent the original visa petition to Department of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH. 03801-2909".

My question is this, when we send AOS and IV package by mail, do we send it to the address on the notice letter or to -

NVC

ATTN: CMR

31 Rochester Ave, Suite 100

Portsmouth, NH. 03801-2914

I've read the instructions on how to process for NVC a million times, but this different address in the NOA2 letter confused me. Thanks!

The address to send the two packages will be on their respective bar-coded cover sheets from the payment portal.

Hey everyone, just created the March thread for NVC filers: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/354975-nvc-filers-march-2012/

By the way, I took foobaz's suggestion and created a very thorough (in my opinion) FAQ! I expect it will answer a LOT of commonly asked questions on the NVC process.

Gotta be careful with that, though, because opting in prior to billing didn't affect our case negatively at all.

I think they will be open tomorrow. Today they are closed due to power outage. They usually fix those things quickly. God willing tomorrow they will get back to work! :) Always be optomistic!

Hmm..you know what's funny is that three days ago, when we made our daily NVC call, they said they received our case but case number should be assigned this Wednesday or Friday. Ppl in the states usually know their power outages ahead of time?? :wow:

Nostradamus :alien: .

Although you might be correct, I really talked to someone at 8 am ET and she told me that she can answer only general questions but she can't access her terminal. I think it was Foobaz123 fault, cuz he sent like a giant PDF file yesterday and that might weigh and jammed all circuits.... too many bytes traffic. :pop:

It's specific to EP cases in CHINA, not other countries.
